Uttar Pardesh में skill-based education की एक नई क्रांति आ रही है। 22 मार्च 2026 को Lucknow के Indira Gandhi Pratishthan में ‘Vrihad Rozgar Mela-2026’ का आयोजन हुआ जिसमें 116 कंपनियों ने हिस्सा लिया और 2,527 युवाओं को job offers मिलीं। इनमें Tata, Hero, Swiggy, Flipkart जैसी बड़ी companies थीं जो manufacturing, IT और services जैसे sectors में ₹35,000-₹40,000 तक के packages offer कर रहीं थीं।

यह सिर्फ एक job fair नहीं था — यह UP सरकार का एक बड़ा message था: Skill Certificate = Job। इस मेले में जो युवा select हुए वो ITI, Polytechnic और UPSDM (UP Skill Development Mission) training programmes के graduates थे।

UP सरकार ने 2026 में 22 नए ITI तैयार किए हैं जहाँ करीब 10,000 students training ले सकेंगे। आगे 30 और ITIs शुरू करने का plan है। साथ ही 149 ITIs को Tata Technologies के साथ modern technology hubs में upgrade किया जा रहा है। UPSDM के 2,000 से ज्यादा training partners पूरे राज्य में free vocational training दे रहे हैं।

UP Skill Development का ecosystem 2026 में कहाँ खड़ा है:

• 286 Government ITIs — पूरे UP में। इनमें से 149 Tata Technologies के साथ upgraded हो रहे हैं।
• 22 नए ITI 2026 में launch — 10,000 नए students trained होंगे। 30 और जल्द।
• UPSDM के 2,000+ Training Partners — पूरे राज्य में free short-term vocational training।
• Vrihad Rozgar Mela 2026 — 116 companies, 2,527 job offers, 494 महिलाओं को placement।
• NEP 2020 के तहत vocational education Class 6 से — school level पर भी skill integration।
• UP Budget 2026-27 में Skill Development के लिए ₹1,000 crore, Artisan Training के लिए ₹836 crore, Project Praveen के लिए ₹500 crore।

Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal ने Vrihad Rozgar Mela में कहा — “Success comes not only from degrees but from skills, confidence and effective communication ability.” Zero Poverty category के 56 युवाओं को भी employment मिली — यह inclusive skill development का प्रमाण है।

UP में Skill Courses के Types — क्या-क्या Available है?

UP में skill development courses तीन major channels के through available हैं:

1. ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Courses

Duration: 6 months से 2 years | After Class 10

ITI में trade-specific technical training होती है। NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) और SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) certified courses। Popular trades:

• Engineering Trades (1-2 year): Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Mechanic, Welder, Plumber, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Electronics Mechanic, AC & Refrigeration Mechanic
• Non-Engineering Trades (6 months-1 year): Dress Making, Stenography, Hair & Skin Care, Food Production (General)

Duration: 3 months से 6 months | Age 14-35 years | FREE

Eligibility: Class 5 pass और उससे ऊपर — यानी बहुत कम educational qualification वाले भी apply कर सकते हैं।

National Education Policy 2020 के तहत UP के degree colleges और universities में भी vocational courses शुरू हो रहे हैं:

• B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocation) — 3-year skill-based degree
• Diploma courses embedded in B.Tech और BA programmes
• Industry certifications (AWS, Google, Microsoft, CISCO) integrated in AKTU syllabus
• National Credit Framework (NCrF) — Vocational credits = Academic credits

Class 10–12 के छात्रों के लिए जरूरी जानकारी

यह UP government की सबसे ambitious skill development initiative है। Tata Technologies ने UP government के साथ MoU किया है — 149 ITIs को modern technology hubs में transform करने के लिए। Phase 1 में 149, Phase 2 में 62 और ITIs upgrade होंगी।

Students की आम गलतियां

1. Skill certificate को degree से कम आँकना: Vrihad Rozgar Mela में ₹35,000-₹40,000 salary package skill certificate holders को मिला। Degree से career नहीं, skills से career बनता है।
2. UPSDM free training के बारे में न जानना: लाखों UP students free training का फायदा नहीं उठाते क्योंकि उन्हें जानकारी नहीं होती। upsdm.gov.in पर register करें — यह पूरी तरह free है।
3. सिर्फ traditional trades choose करना: Electrician, Fitter सब अच्छे हैं — लेकिन AI, EV Technician, Solar Panel, Drone Operator में future बहुत ज्यादा scope है।
4. Government ITI को ignore करके private ITI में join करना: Government ITI में fees बहुत कम हैं और Tata Technologies upgrade के बाद quality बेहतर है। Counselling में government ITI को priority दें।
5. Job fair miss करना: UP में नियमित रूप से Rozgar Mela होते हैं। upsdm.gov.in और upvesd.gov.in पर upcoming job fairs की जानकारी रखें।
6. Placement obligation न जानना: UPSDM training partners contractually bound हैं 70% candidates को employed करने के लिए। अगर placement नहीं दे रहे — complaint करें।

• Skill + Degree = Best Combination: Degree के साथ skill certificate — यह combination सबसे ज्यादा employable बनाता है। UPSDM free training के साथ college education parallel में ले सकते हैं।
