MBA aspirants who want a shot at Woxsen University’s extra scholarship have nine days left. Applications for the MBA programme under the Scholar’s Round close on November 14, 2026, and candidates selected in this round get an additional 10% merit scholarship on tuition fees, over and above the regular scholarship the university already offers.

What the Scholar’s Round adds

The Scholar’s Round is the early phase of Woxsen’s 2026-27 admission cycle. The university offers merit-based scholarships of up to 50% on tuition fees, and the extra 10% in this round sits above that. To be considered for the additional scholarship, applicants must submit an entrance test scorecard and complete a personal interview.

Woxsen is a private university in Hyderabad, Telangana, established in 2020. Its MBA admission runs on entrance scores plus the interview, and the Scholar’s Round rewards candidates who apply early with the extra fee waiver.

Who can apply

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution with at least 60% aggregate marks. Woxsen accepts scores from its own test, the Woxsen Aptitude Test (WAT), along with CAT, NMAT, XAT, GMAT and GRE. Candidates who have already taken one of the national exams can apply with that score instead of sitting for WAT.

The personal interview is part of the selection for everyone. The university looks at the entrance score and the interview together before making an offer, so a strong test score alone does not settle admission.

The December 14 condition

The extra scholarship comes with a condition. Candidates who receive an offer letter carrying the additional 10% must pay the commitment fee by December 14, 2026. Missing that date means losing the extra scholarship, and the application then moves ahead under the standard admission terms.

That leaves about a month between the application deadline and the fee deadline. Candidates who are waiting on a CAT or XAT score should check whether their result will arrive in time, because the offer and the fee payment both sit inside that window.

How to apply

Candidates apply online through the official application portal. After submitting the form and an accepted entrance test score, shortlisted applicants go through a personal interview. Our admission documents checklist covers the scans to keep ready before starting, and our guide to scholarships for Indian university students explains how merit waivers usually work across universities.

MBA has the earliest cut-off in the Scholar’s Round. Most other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the university close on December 1, 2026, so MBA applicants face the tighter deadline.
