UP के लाखों teacher aspirants के लिए UPTET 2026 Notification में एक बड़ा और historic बदलाव है — पहली बार EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates को UPTET में reservation का लाभ मिलेगा।

Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) ने 20 March 2026 को जारी UPTET 2026 Notification में fee structure में EWS को General और OBC के साथ group किया है। Notification के अनुसार General/OBC/EWS — तीनों के लिए एक paper की fee ₹1,000 है। साथ ही UPTET 2026 में reservation structure में EWS category को formally include किया गया है।

EWS reservation India में 103rd Constitutional Amendment Act, 2019 के तहत आया था — जिसने Economically Weaker Sections के लिए 10% horizontal reservation provide किया। UP में EWS reservation government jobs, education और competitive exams में लागू होता है। UPTET 2021 में यह formally implement नहीं था — लेकिन 2026 में यह officially recognized है।

EWS Reservation क्या है — UP के Teacher Aspirants के लिए

• Super TET और actual teacher recruitment में: जब UPESSC Super TET और teacher recruitment करेगी तो EWS candidates को 10% seats reserved होंगी

उत्तर प्रदेश में EWS Reservation की मौजूदा स्थिति

• 2019: Central Government ने EWS quota announce किया। UP Government ने भी adopt किया।

EWS Certificate कैसे बनाएं — Step-by-Step

UPTET 2026 में EWS reservation का फायदा लेने के लिए valid EWS certificate होना mandatory है। इसे बनवाने की process:

1. Eligibility check करें:
   • Family annual income ≤ ₹8 lakh (सभी sources मिलाकर)
   • Agricultural land < 5 acres
   • Residential flat area < 1,000 sq ft
   • Residential plot < 100 sq yards (notified municipalities में) या < 200 sq yards (बाकी areas में)

EWS vs OBC vs General — Difference Understand करें

कई candidates confused होते हैं — EWS, OBC और General में क्या फर्क है:

• General Category: कोई reservation नहीं। Highest cutoff (60%)। कोई certificate required नहीं।
• OBC: Socially और educationally backward classes। Separate OBC certificate — Tehsildar से। 27% reservation। Cutoff: 55%।
• EWS: General category का sub-group — economically कमजोर लेकिन SC/ST/OBC नहीं। Income ≤ ₹8 lakh। 10% reservation। Cutoff: 55%। Certificate: SDM/Tehsildar से।

Students की आम गलतियां — EWS Candidates के लिए

1. EWS certificate नहीं बनवाना: UPTET form में EWS category select करने के लिए valid EWS certificate होना mandatory है। आज ही apply करें — process में 15-30 दिन लगते हैं।
2. Expired EWS certificate use करना: EWS certificate annual होती है। 2024-25 की certificate 2026 में valid नहीं होगी। Financial year 2025-26 की fresh certificate चाहिए।
3. OBC certificate से EWS claim करना: OBC और EWS अलग-अलग categories हैं। OBC certificate से EWS benefit नहीं मिलेगा।
