उत्तर प्रदेश में इस बार Holi की छुट्टियां सामान्य से ज्यादा लंबी मिलने वाली हैं। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की सरकार ने 2 March से 4 March 2026 तक सभी सरकारी स्कूलों में छुट्टी घोषित की है। चूंकि 1 March को रविवार है, इसलिए छात्रों को लगातार चार दिन की छुट्टी मिलेगी। यह फैसला खासतौर पर Class 10 और 12 के छात्रों के लिए राहत भरा है क्योंकि UP Board की परीक्षाएं चल रही हैं और Holika Dahan व Holi के दिन कोई exam scheduled नहीं है।
Basic Shiksha Parishad ने अपने academic calendar में साफ किया है कि 2 March को Holika Dahan और 4 March को Holi के कारण छुट्टी रहेगी। 3 March को हालांकि कुछ districts में स्कूल खुल सकते हैं, लेकिन ज्यादातर जगहों पर प्रशासन ने तीन दिन की लगातार छुट्टी ही मान ली है। Parents को अपने district के education officer से confirm कर लेना चाहिए क्योंकि कुछ private schools अपना अलग schedule follow करते हैं।
उत्तर प्रदेश में मौजूदा स्थिति
पूरे UP में इस समय दो बड़ी चीजें चल रही हैं। पहली, UP Board की Class 10 और 12 की परीक्षाएं 18 February से शुरू होकर 12 March तक चलेंगी। दूसरी, RTE Admission 2026-27 की Phase 2 process 21 February से 7 March तक active है। ऐसे में Holi की छुट्टियां दोनों groups के लिए अलग मायने रखती हैं।
Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Meerut, Agra जैसे बड़े शहरों में तो पूरी तरह से 2 से 4 March तक सब बंद रहेगा। लेकिन Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Aligarh जैसे districts में कुछ private schools 3 March को खोलने की बात कर रहे थे, हालांकि अब ज्यादातर ने तीन दिन की छुट्टी ही रखने का फैसला लिया है।
Western UP के districts जैसे Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Shamli में भी यही pattern follow हो रहा है। Eastern UP में Azamgarh, Ballia, Deoria के schools भी इसी schedule पर हैं। Bundelkhand region यानी Jhansi, Lalitpur, Banda में भी सरकारी आदेश के मुताबिक ही छुट्टी रहेगी।
School Students के लिए क्या मायने रखता है
Class 10 और 12 के students के लिए यह छुट्टी revision का अच्छा मौका है। UP Board exams में अभी March के पहले हफ्ते में कुछ important subjects बचे हैं। जो students 5 या 6 March को exam दे रहे हैं, उनके लिए यह long weekend बहुत काम की है।
Class 9 और 11 के students को अगले session की planning करनी चाहिए। खासकर Class 11 में जो stream selection करनी है, उस पर parents से बात करने का यह सही समय है। बहुत से students Science लेने के बाद struggle करते हैं क्योंकि उन्हें पता नहीं होता कि Physics और Chemistry में कितनी मेहनत लगती है।
Class 6 से 8 के छात्रों के लिए यह सिर्फ छुट्टी का समय है, लेकिन parents को ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि बच्चे पूरा दिन mobile पर न बिताएं। इस उम्र में पढ़ाई की आदत बनाना जरूरी है।
College और University Students के लिए जरूरी जानकारी
Lucknow University, Allahabad University, BHU जैसी बड़ी universities में भी 4 March को holiday रहेगी। लेकिन जो students CUET PG 2026 की तैयारी कर रहे हैं, उनके लिए यह छुट्टी mock tests देने का समय है क्योंकि exam 6 March से शुरू हो रहा है।
Undergraduate students जो final year में हैं और placement season चल रहा है, उन्हें इस break में अपने resume और interview preparation पर focus करना चाहिए। बहुत से students यह गलती करते हैं कि वे सिर्फ technical skills पर ध्यान देते हैं लेकिन communication और soft skills ignore कर देते हैं।
जो students BHU, Allahabad University या Lucknow University में admission लेना चाहते हैं, उन्हें CUET registration की last dates check करनी चाहिए। CUET UG के लिए registration अभी चल रहा है और NEET 2026 का registration 8 March तक है।
RTE Admission के लिए जो parents Phase 2 में apply कर रहे हैं, उन्हें 7 March की deadline याद रखनी होगी। Holi की छुट्टियों के बाद सिर्फ दो दिन बचेंगे, इसलिए अभी से documents ready रखें।
Parents के लिए जरूरी बातें
बहुत से parents यह सोचते हैं कि private schools में admission लेना जरूरी है, लेकिन UP के government schools में भी अच्छी पढ़ाई हो रही है। खासकर Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi के कुछ government schools का result बहुत अच्छा आता है।
RTE Admission 2026-27 में 25 percent seats private schools में free मिलती हैं। Phase 2 की last date 7 March है और Phase 3 12 March से 25 March तक चलेगा। जिन parents की income 1 lakh से कम है, वे जरूर apply करें। Lottery system से selection होता है, इसलिए कोई पैसे या recommendation की जरूरत नहीं।
Documents में सबसे ज्यादा problem income certificate और address proof में आती है। Income certificate tehsil से बनवाना पड़ता है और कम से कम 15 दिन लग जाते हैं। Address proof के लिए Aadhaar card, voter ID या electricity bill काम करता है।
UP Board exams दे रहे बच्चों के parents को exam center तक जाने का proper arrangement करना चाहिए। Holi के बाद 5 March से फिर exams शुरू हो जाएंगे। Morning shift 8:30 AM से 11:45 AM तक है और afternoon shift 2:00 PM से 5:15 PM तक।

UP में इस समय कई important processes चल रही हैं जिनकी जानकारी हर student और parent को होनी चाहिए।

UP Scholarship का payment 18 March को होना है। जिन students ने correction deadline 18 February तक form submit कर दिया था, उनका पैसा account में आ जाएगा। Status check करने के लिए scholarship.up.gov.in पर जाकर registration number से login करें।
District-wise उदाहरण और स्थानीय संदर्भ
Lucknow में सबसे ज्यादा confusion private schools को लेकर है। Gomti Nagar, Indira Nagar जैसे इलाकों के कुछ schools ने 3 March को खोलने की बात कही थी लेकिन अब सबने 4 दिन की छुट्टी कर दी है।
Noida और Greater Noida में जो parents NCR में रहते हैं, उन्हें Delhi के schools से compare नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि UP और Delhi की holiday list अलग होती है। Noida के Sectors 62, 63, 78, 137 में बहुत से अच्छे schools हैं जो UP Board और CBSE दोनों follow करते हैं।
Ghaziabad के Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara इलाकों में भी यही situation है। Kanpur के Swaroop Nagar, Kakadeo इलाकों में government schools बहुत अच्छे हैं और वहां admission के लिए RTE quota जरूर try करना चाहिए।
Varanasi में BHU के आसपास के इलाकों में बहुत से coaching centers हैं जो NEET और JEE की तैयारी कराते हैं। Holi की छुट्टी में भी कुछ centers special classes रख रहे हैं।
Prayagraj में Allahabad University के admission के लिए CUET compulsory है। Civil Lines, Georgetown इलाकों में रहने वाले students को university campus के hostels के बारे में पहले से जानकारी रखनी चाहिए।
Meerut, Agra, Bareilly जैसे tier-2 cities में parents को यह समझना चाहिए कि अच्छी पढ़ाई के लिए सिर्फ बड़े शहर जाना जरूरी नहीं है। Local colleges में भी अच्छे courses हैं और fees भी कम है।
Students और Parents की आम गलतफहमियां
बहुत से Class 10 के students सोचते हैं कि 11th में Science लेना ही सबसे अच्छा option है। लेकिन अगर Mathematics में interest नहीं है तो Commerce या Arts भी बेहतरीन career options हैं। Arts लेने वाले students CUET के through Delhi University, BHU, Allahabad University जैसी top universities में BA कर सकते हैं।
Parents यह गलती करते हैं कि वे सिर्फ Engineering और Medical को ही career मानते हैं। आजकल Mass Communication, Hotel Management, Design, Law जैसे fields में भी बहुत scope है।
RTE Admission में बहुत से parents यह सोचते हैं कि lottery में naam आने के लिए कोई setting करनी पड़ती है। यह पूरी तरह computerized process है और transparent है। Sirf documents सही होने चाहिए।
UP Scholarship के बारे में यह confusion रहता है कि सिर्फ SC ST को मिलती है। लेकिन General category के students को भी income के basis पर scholarship मिलती है। OBC और Minority categories के लिए भी अलग schemes हैं।
College admission में सबसे बड़ी गलती यह होती है कि students last date के दिन apply करते हैं और फिर technical problem आने पर form submit नहीं हो पाता। हमेशा deadline से 2-3 दिन पहले form भर देना चाहिए।
Future Planning और सही दिशा
Class 10 के बाद stream selection सबसे important decision है। Science लेने से पहले यह देखें कि क्या आप रोज 4-5 घंटे पढ़ाई कर सकते हैं। Physics Chemistry में numerical practice बहुत जरूरी है।
Commerce लेने वाले students को Accountancy और Economics में अच्छी पकड़ बनानी होगी। CA CPT अब CA Foundation हो गया है और Class 12 के बाद directly attempt कर सकते हैं।
Arts stream में अब बहुत options हैं। Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, History सब subjects में higher studies और research के मौके हैं। CUET के through central universities में admission मिल जाता है।
Class 12 के बाद अगर Engineering करनी है तो JEE Main जरूर दें। UP में NIT Allahabad और IIIT Allahabad जैसे top institutes हैं। State level पर UPSEE भी होता है जिससे government colleges में admission मिलता है।
Medical students के लिए NEET ही एकमात्र रास्ता है। UP में कई government medical colleges हैं जहां fees बहुत कम है। Private colleges की fees 50 lakh से ज्यादा हो सकती है इसलिए NEET में अच्छे marks लाना जरूरी है।
Graduation के बाद अगर government job करनी है तो SSC CGL, UPSC, UPPSC जैसी exams की तैयारी शुरू कर दें। अगर higher studies करनी है तो CUET PG, CAT, GATE जैसे exams के बारे में जानकारी रखें।

Holi की छुट्टी के बाद UP Board के exams कब से शुरू होंगे? 5 March से फिर exams शुरू हो जाएंगे। 12 March को last paper है।
