November 3 is result day for UP NEET MDS 2026 Round 3. The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has put the Round 3 seat allotment result on its schedule for today, and candidates who took part should check the official portal for their allotment status. Anyone who gets a seat must then report to the allotted college between November 4 and 7.

The round covers state quota MDS seats in government and private dental colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh. It is the last structured state round before the stray vacancy stage, so for candidates still waiting on a state quota MDS seat, this result matters more than an ordinary round would.

How to check the result

Candidates should log in to the official UP NEET counselling portal, open the MDS Round 3 section, and look for the seat allotment result. Those allotted a seat can download the allotment letter from the portal. Keep a copy of that letter safe, since it is needed at reporting along with the fee payment receipt.

One point on timing is worth stating plainly. DGME’s revised schedule, issued on October 22 after an earlier postponement, puts the result on November 3. If the result link is not visible yet when you check, wait and check again. Reporting does not open until November 4.

Reporting from November 4 to 7

Candidates with an allotted seat must report in person to the allotted college between November 4 and November 7 to complete admission. That visit covers document verification and the remaining admission formalities. Carry the NEET MDS 2026 scorecard and admit card, Class 10 and 12 certificates, the BDS degree and mark sheets, the internship completion and permanent registration certificates, domicile and category certificates where claimed, a government photo ID, the Round 3 allotment letter, and the fee payment receipt. Our admission documents checklist runs through the same set in more detail, so it is worth reading before November 4 rather than assembling papers at the last minute.

If no seat comes through

Candidates who do not get a seat in this round should keep watching the portal. Any state quota seats left vacant after reporting closes on November 7 move to the stray vacancy stage, though DGME has not announced a stray round schedule yet.
