NTRUHS opens NEET PG management quota applications: 5 days left, Rs 3 lakh deposit rule

The window is short. From 4 PM today, October 19, candidates who qualified NEET PG 2026 can apply for PG medical Degree and Diploma seats under the management quota in Andhra Pradesh, and the form has to be in by 10 PM on October 23. Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, which runs the state’s PG medical counselling, has opened applications on the official admission portal.

The counselling covers PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses in unaided non-minority and minority private medical colleges, along with new government medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, for the 2026-27 academic session.

The Rs 3 lakh deposit

The headline change this year is a refundable security deposit of Rs 3,00,000 for candidates who intend to take part in Phase-III (mop-up) and the subsequent stray vacancy rounds. NTRUHS has brought it in to discourage seat blocking, so seats do not sit unused while later rounds run. The deposit is refundable, but the forfeiture conditions sit in the prospectus, and it is worth reading them before paying.

Who can apply

Only NEET PG 2026 qualifiers can register. The cut-offs are the 50th percentile (262 out of 720) for General and EWS candidates, the 45th percentile (244) for General-PwBD candidates, and the 40th percentile (226) for SC, ST and OBC candidates. For MD and MS seats, the internship must have been completed on or before September 30, 2026. Candidates who did their MBBS outside India must have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination and be registered with the MCI and the AP State Medical Council.

How to apply

Fill the form on drntr.uhsap.in between 4 PM on October 19 and 10 PM on October 23. If you miss that window, applications with a late fee will be accepted on October 24 between 9 AM and 10 PM. Register with your details, enter your NEET PG 2026 information, upload scanned copies of your original certificates, pay the fee online, and submit. What happens after October 23

NTRUHS will verify documents, publish the merit list and the seat matrix for the management quota, and then move to web options and allotment rounds.
