The question paper is available in Hindi and English. Candidates who clear Stage 1 move to the second stage: a Situation Test for regular programmes, and a Studio Test, personal interview and document verification for NLEA candidates.

The application fee

For a single programme, the fee is Rs 2,000 for Open, Open-EWS and OBC (NCL) candidates and Rs 500 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Those applying for two programmes (B.F.Tech plus B.Des, or M.F.M plus M.Des) pay Rs 3,000 and Rs 750 respectively. NRI, foreign national, OCI, PIO and SAARC candidates pay Rs 11,100.

Before you file the form

The information bulletin lays out programme-specific rules, so read the eligibility criteria for your programme before you register. Keep your photograph, signature and category certificates in the prescribed format, and check that the name on your form matches your certificates. This admission documents checklist covers what most university applications in India ask for.

Applications are accepted only through the official NTA NIFTEE portal.
