How to register
On the MCC website, open the PG Medical Counselling section and click the New Registration link. Fill in the NEET PG 2026 details and personal information, create the login, and complete the form. Pay the registration fee and security deposit for the candidate’s category; the registration fee is non-refundable, while the security deposit is refundable under the counselling rules. Review every entry before submitting, then save the confirmation page.
Fees and documents
For 50% AIQ and central university seats, the reported registration fee is Rs 1,000 for General candidates and Rs 500 for SC, ST and OBC candidates, with a refundable security deposit of Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. Deemed universities have a separate fee structure; verify the latest figures on the official portal before paying.
Keep ready the NEET PG 2026 admit card and scorecard or rank letter, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, marksheets, internship completion certificate, medical registration certificate, photo ID, photographs, and applicable category or disability certificates. Preparing an admission documents checklist in advance helps, since mismatched names across certificates are a common reason forms get flagged.
Who can apply
Candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2026 and meet the prescribed eligibility requirements can participate, and they must also fulfil the internship and medical registration requirements for admission. Seat allotment weighs the candidate’s NEET PG merit position, category, filled preferences, available seats, and applicable reservation rules. Registration alone does not guarantee a seat.
Filling choices carefully
Choice filling decides where a candidate lands, so the preferences deserve research. Check the latest seat matrix on the MCC portal, and compare colleges on course availability, fees and previous-year closing ranks for the candidate’s category. Arrange choices by genuine preference, since allotment runs strictly down the list. Lock the choices within the window and keep a copy of the submitted preferences. Do not leave registration or choice locking for the final hours; portals slow down near deadlines, and the window will not wait for a slow form.
