Candidates allotted a seat in NEET MDS 2026 Round 3 have until November 7 to report to their colleges. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) declared the final Round 3 allotment result on October 31, closing a sequence that moved fast: the provisional list came out on October 30, objections were taken until 10 am on October 31, and the final list followed the same day.

The final list is the one that counts. MCC had told candidates not to approach their allotted colleges on the basis of the provisional list, since it could change once grievances were reviewed. Anyone checking their status now should work from the final PDF and download the allotment letter from the candidate portal before travelling, rather than relying on screenshots or earlier versions of the list.

How to check the final list

The result is published on the official MCC portal in the NEET MDS counselling section. Download the PDF and search for your All India Rank to find your allotted dental college, specialisation and category. The entry also shows the option number and quota against which the seat was allotted, so check each field against the choices you locked before planning the reporting trip.

Round 3 covers the central pool of dental seats. That means 50 percent All India Quota MDS seats, seats in deemed and central universities, and seats under ESIC and the Armed Forces Medical Services. The central pool includes deemed university seats, for example at Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Saveetha Institute of Medical And Technical Sciences.

Reporting window: November 1 to 7

Reporting and joining runs from November 1 to November 7 at the allotted dental college. Candidates should carry original documents, the allotment letter, the admit card and the admission fee. Our admission documents checklist lists the papers colleges usually ask for, and a missing certificate can stall an otherwise confirmed seat.

The schedule gives no reporting window after November 7 for this round, so travel plans should leave room for a full day at the college. Candidates who find a genuine error in their final entry should raise it through the MCC portal rather than waiting, since the next round will not reopen Round 3 allotments.

What comes after Round 3

Round 3 is the last regular round of MCC NEET MDS counselling. Seats still vacant after it move to a stray vacancy round, which MCC lists for November 10 to 19, with joining to be completed by November 28. Candidates who got no seat in the final Round 3 list should watch the official MCC portal for that schedule rather than assume the process is over.
