The provisional list is out, and the time to get a mistake fixed is short. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the NEET MDS 2026 Round 3 provisional seat allotment list on the official MCC portal, and candidates have until 5 pm today, October 31, to raise an objection.

The list is published as a PDF, and candidates do not need login details to open the common list. Download it from the NEET MDS counselling section of the portal and search for your roll number. Save a copy once you have found your entry, since this is the version MCC will correct before it publishes the final list.

Round 3 covers the central pool of dental seats. That means 50 percent All India Quota MDS seats, MDS seats in deemed and central universities, and seats under ESIC and the Armed Forces Medical Services. The central pool includes deemed university seats, for example at Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Saveetha Institute of Medical And Technical Sciences.

What to check, and how to object

Go through your entry line by line before deciding whether you need to write to MCC. Check the allotted seat, the course, the institute and the category against the choices you locked. An error in any of those fields is the kind of discrepancy the objection window exists for.

An objection goes to MCC by email. Mention your NEET MDS roll number, your name, the seat you were allotted and the specific discrepancy you found. Attach supporting documents such as your rank card, category certificate or registration slip, and keep a copy of the sent email. MCC has said it will consider only grievances raised within the window, so an email sent after 5 pm today will not be entertained.

Candidates who find no error in their entry do not need to do anything at this stage. Their next step comes with the final list.

What happens after today

Once the objection window closes, MCC will review the grievances it received and publish the final Round 3 allotment list on the same portal. Candidates named in the final list must then report to their allotted dental college within the reporting window given in the final allotment notice, carrying original documents, the allotment letter, the admit card and the admission fee. Our admission documents checklist covers the papers to keep ready before reporting, since a missing certificate at the college can stall an otherwise confirmed seat.

Round 3 is the last regular round of MCC NEET MDS counselling. A stray vacancy round follows it, and its schedule will be published on mcc.nic.in. Anyone who gets no seat in the final Round 3 list should watch that schedule rather than assume the counselling process is over.
