Registration for Madhya Pradesh’s first AYUSH undergraduate stray vacancy round opened on November 3, 2026, for seats left vacant after the earlier state rounds. The window closes at 11:59 pm on November 5.
The round is run by the Directorate of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh, for admission to four undergraduate programmes: BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BNYS, at government, autonomous and private AYUSH colleges across the state. Admission is based on NEET UG 2026 scores.
Who can register
Only NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates can take part. The round is meant for candidates still without a seat: those who registered in an earlier MP AYUSH round but were not allotted a seat, those allotted a seat who did not report, fresh qualifiers who did not register earlier subject to the notification clause, and candidates who meet the Madhya Pradesh domicile and category rules.
This state round is separate from the central AYUSH undergraduate stray vacancy round run by AACCC, so candidates should check which counselling route their seat comes under before registering.
Dates to remember
Online registration and fee payment for newly registered candidates run from November 3 to November 5, 2026, till 11:59 pm. Candidates can edit and verify their registration details from November 4 to November 6, till 5 pm, with document verification at designated help centres in the same window.
The merit list, seat matrix and choice filling list are all due on November 7. Choice filling and locking then run from November 8 to November 11, till 11:59 pm, and candidates can download the choice filling receipt in the same window. A college-wise merit list follows on November 14, with scrutiny and reporting from November 14 to November 17, till 4 pm. Admission at colleges is scheduled for November 18, with cancellation the same evening.
The three-day registration window is short, and the fee payment link closes with registration on November 5. A registration without payment does not count for allotment, so candidates should finish both steps together rather than leaving payment for the last hour.
How to register
Registration takes place entirely online through the official MP AYUSH portal. Candidates log in with their NEET UG 2026 roll number and application credentials, fill the form, pay the counselling fee online, and then fill and lock their preferred choices before the deadline. The choice filling receipt should be downloaded and kept for later reference.
Before starting, candidates should read the stray vacancy round notification on the portal and confirm their eligibility. The seat matrix published on November 7 will show which colleges and courses still have vacancies, so choices locked between November 8 and 11 should be based on that matrix rather than on earlier round lists.
Documents to keep ready
Candidates will need their NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, and a Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate where claimed. Category certificates are needed where claimed, along with the allotment letter, transfer and migration certificates, recent passport-size photographs and a valid photo ID proof. Admission is confirmed only after document verification at the allotted college, so originals plus self-attested copies should be ready before reporting. The admission documents checklist covers the same set in one place.
