3,667 students in Maharashtra now know which pharmacy college will admit them. The State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced the fourth-round allotment for first-year B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D admissions for 2026-27, and everyone on that list has until October 24, 2026, to report in person to the allotted college with documents and fees. The allotment status is available through candidate login on the official admission portal.
Who got seats this round
Of the 5,120 students who submitted college preferences for the fourth round, 3,667 received an allotment, the CET Cell said. Within that number, 1,087 students have received an admission opportunity for the first time this counselling season.
The allotment covers both the four-year B.Pharmacy degree and the six-year Pharm.D programme. Maharashtra has 47,192 seats across 528 pharmacy colleges this year, according to the CET Cell’s announcement.
All four rounds are part of Maharashtra’s centralised admission process for pharmacy courses for the 2026-27 academic year, run entirely through the CET Cell. Preferences for round four were invited only from registered candidates, so anyone who never completed option entry was never in contention.
How the four rounds played out
The fourth round was open only to students who submitted their preferences within the stipulated window. Round by round, the centralised process admitted 16,734 students in round one, 7,432 in round two and 2,960 in round three, for a cumulative 27,126 admissions before this round.
Report by October 24
An allotment is not an admission. The CET Cell has directed allotted students to report to their college in person, submit the required documents and pay the applicable fees by October 24, 2026. Only after that is the seat confirmed. Keep the allotment letter, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category and domicile certificates where applicable, and a government ID ready. Our admission documents checklist covers the paperwork most colleges ask for.
The institutional round follows
From October 25 to 29, 2026, colleges will conduct the institutional round, admitting students to seats that remain vacant after the centralised rounds. The CET Cell announced those dates in the same press release, giving colleges five days to finish admissions before the season closes. It is the last window of the season, so candidates who missed out in all four CAP rounds should track college-level notices and be ready with documents. Before settling for any seat, it helps to compare what is on offer: our guide on how to choose a university in India sets out how to judge colleges on accreditation, faculty and placements rather than reputation alone.
