Medical graduates in Maharashtra have until tonight to rank the colleges they want. Online choice filling for Maharashtra NEET PG 2026 CAP Round 1 closes on November 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM on the official counselling portal. The window opened on November 2, so candidates have had three days to enter and order their preferences.
This round covers state quota seats in MD, MS and PG Diploma courses. The State Common Entrance Test Cell runs the Centralised Admission Process for medical colleges across Maharashtra, including government, corporation, municipal and private unaided institutions. The provisional merit list came out on October 30, candidates could raise grievances against it, and the final state merit list followed. Choice filling is the step after that list, and it is the last chance in this round to state where you want to study.
Counselling portals tend to slow down on the final evening as candidates log in together. Finish the list well before 11:59 PM rather than leaving the last few preferences for the final hour. Once the window closes, no further changes are accepted in this round.
