The application window for KIITEE 2027 opens on Tuesday, November 10. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, a deemed to be university in Bhubaneswar, will take registrations on its official portal, kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The form costs nothing to fill, and the university accepts no offline applications.
KIITEE is the university’s own entrance test for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes. Medical and dental courses stay outside it. MBBS, BDS and PG medical and dental admissions do not go through KIITEE.
Who can apply
For B.Tech, the rule is straightforward. Candidates need to have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026, or be appearing for the exam in 2027, with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together. Undergraduate applicants also need to have been born on or after July 1, 2000.
The rules change by course after that. Postgraduate applicants need a graduation degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject, and PhD applicants need a postgraduate degree with 55% marks. Diploma holders with 60% marks can apply for B.Tech lateral entry. Check the course-wise rules on the portal before filling the form, because a wrong entry cannot be corrected later. The university offers no correction window after submission.
How to apply
The whole process runs online. Register on the portal with a mobile number and email ID, fill in personal and academic details, and upload a scanned passport-size photograph, a signature, the Class 10 mark sheet or certificate, and an ID proof. Read each entry again before submitting. An incomplete form cannot be submitted at all.
Keep the application number safe after submitting. It is needed to retrieve the form details and the login password later.
Dates to keep in mind
