If your name is on the Kerala NEET UG Round 3 list, your seat still needs to be claimed. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has published the final allotment for Round 3 of NEET UG 2026 counselling, and allotted candidates must reach their college with documents and fees by 4 pm on October 14.
The allotment covers MBBS and BDS seats under the Kerala state quota. Round 3 is the last regular round of the state counselling, and whatever remains after it moves to the stray vacancy process.
The timeline
Fresh option entry for Round 3 ran from September 28 to October 7. CEE Kerala then published the provisional allotment on October 8 and accepted complaints against it until noon on October 9. The final list went live on October 11, and the reporting window opened the next day.
Joining is open from October 12 to October 14, closing at 4 pm sharp on the last day. There is no grace period after that; an allotment that is not claimed by the deadline is cancelled.
How to check your allotment
Go to the official CEE Kerala portal and open the KEAM 2026 candidate portal from the homepage. Log in with your application number and password, then open the allotment list tab and select Third Phase under the Medical (MBBS/BDS) section.
Download your individual allotment memo and take a printout. The college will ask for it when you report for admission, so keep it with the rest of your paperwork.
Joining: what to carry
Joining has two parts: paying the fee and getting your documents verified. Carry originals along with self-attested copies of your NEET UG admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets and pass certificates, transfer certificate, nativity certificate for the Kerala domicile claim, category and income certificates where applicable, recent photographs, and a valid photo ID.
Our admission documents checklist walks through the full set of paperwork to assemble. Students comparing a government quota seat with a management seat should also read our guide on central, state and private universities before they decide, and the how to choose a university in India guide can help weigh the final options.
What if you miss the deadline
A candidate who does not report by 4 pm on October 14 loses the allotted seat. The seat is then released to the stray vacancy pool, which CEE Kerala will fill through the stray vacancy round. That schedule is not out yet, and there is no assurance of a better seat later, so anyone holding a Round 3 allotment should treat the October 14 cutoff as final.
