Kerala NEET PG final merit list out: option entry closes October 31

Kerala’s PG medical aspirants have a final list to check. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, published the final merit list and category list for PG Medical Courses 2026 on October 29, three days after the provisional lists came out on October 26.
Candidates can check their merit position and category status on the official CEE Kerala portal, through the PG Medical Candidate Portal 2026. You log in with your application number and password, and the lists are available there as PDFs.
The final list replaces the provisional one. Complaints and corrections against the provisional list closed on October 29, so the ranks in this version are the ones the first phase of allotment will use.
What the final list settles
The merit list covers admission to postgraduate medical degree courses, including MD and MS programmes, under the Kerala state quota. It is the reference for the centralised allotment rounds that follow, subject to eligibility rules, reservation provisions and the options each candidate registers.
A place on the list is a starting point, not a seat. CEE Kerala has been clear through this counselling round that allotment depends on rank, category, registered choices and seat availability together. A candidate who skips option registration will not be considered at all, whatever their rank.
The October 31 deadline
Option registration for the first phase opened on October 27 and closes at 10 am on October 31. That deadline is now less than a day away, and it covers both the choice filling and the security deposit payment.
The deposit is Rs 10,000 for general candidates and Rs 5,000 for SC, ST, OEC and other candidates eligible for fee concession. It is paid online at the time of option registration. Candidates who are allotted a seat and join it have the deposit adjusted against their fee, and eligible candidates get it refunded after counselling ends.
Choices are registered as course, college and quota combinations, in the order you prefer them. Only options registered online will be considered for allotment, so a combination left out cannot be allotted later even if a seat opens up in it. Put the combinations you would genuinely join at the top, and leave out any you would not accept.
If your category status was withheld
Some candidates will find their category status withheld because of deficiencies in their nativity certificates. CEE Kerala has allowed these candidates to rectify the defects before the last date prescribed for option registration, so anyone in this position should clear the defect and complete option registration before the October 31 deadline rather than waiting for a later round.
Allotment to service quota seats and PwD quota seats will happen in later phases, CEE Kerala has said. The allotment and joining schedule for the first phase will be notified separately.

Log in to the official CEE Kerala portal and open the PG Medical candidate portal. Check your rank and category status, then move to option registration from the same login.
