Candidates waiting on an Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha or Unani seat in Kerala have four days left to act. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala opened online option confirmation for the third phase of allotment on October 24, and the window closes at 11 AM on October 28, 2026.

The third phase covers state quota seats in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied courses. CEE Kerala published the schedule in a notification dated October 24. Candidates confirm their options through the official CEE Kerala portal, where they can also rearrange higher options or delete options they no longer want.

Who has to confirm options

Confirmation is mandatory for every candidate who wants higher options considered in this phase. That covers two groups: candidates who already hold an admission from the second phase and want a better allotment, and candidates who received no allotment in the earlier phase.

A candidate who skips confirmation keeps whatever admission came through the second phase. The higher options on that candidate’s list simply do not enter the third phase allotment. The rule leaves no room for a late correction, so candidates should check that the confirm step itself is complete, not just that options were entered.

The same notification also opens fresh option registration for the Veterinary course. Candidates interested in that course should register their options separately on the portal.

The schedule

The dates after the confirmation deadline come in quick succession. CEE Kerala will publish the provisional third phase allotment on October 29, 2026, and the final allotment on October 30, 2026.

Candidates who receive an allotment must pay the fee and join the allotted college between October 31 and November 3, 2026, up to 4 PM. Colleges then have until 5 PM on November 3 to update the details of admitted candidates through the online admission management system.

The gap between the final allotment and the joining deadline is short, and the joining window includes a weekend. Candidates allotted a seat should keep their documents ready before October 30 rather than waiting for the allotment memo. The admission documents checklist covers the standard papers colleges ask for at verification.

What the fee rules say

Fee details for the Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied courses are published on the CEE Kerala website. One point needs attention for self-financing colleges: the fee for the 2026-27 academic year in self-financing Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani colleges has not been finalised yet.

Candidates allotted seats in those colleges will provisionally pay the fee applicable for the 2025-26 academic year. If the fee fixed for 2026-27 turns out higher, the candidate will have to pay the balance. Candidates from SC, ST and OEC categories, and those covered under specified government orders, are exempt from paying tuition fees at the time of admission, subject to the conditions in the notification.

This phase allots state quota seats, while the central pool works differently. The central vs state vs private university guide explains how state quota, central and private routes differ, which matters when a candidate is also tracking the national AYUSH counselling rounds.

Candidates should read the full CEE Kerala notification before confirming, since the allotment memo and the fee shown in it are the final word for each individual case. The schedule above is the tentative schedule in the notification, and any change will appear on the official notification page first.
