Today is the deadline. The Karnataka Examinations Authority released the final seat allotment for round 2 of Karnataka PGCET 2026 counselling on October 16, and every allotted candidate has to pay the prescribed admission fee by October 19, 2026. College reporting follows next: candidates have to complete admission formalities at their allotted institutions by October 23, 2026.

This round covers postgraduate admissions across Karnataka for MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech and M.Arch courses, based on the options candidates entered between October 13 and October 15. If you logged in on October 16 and found a seat against your name, the clock is running.

What to do today

Pay the fee through the KEA portal. Log in through the official fee payment and confirmation slip page on the KEA website, verify the allotted seat, course and institution, and complete the payment as per the fee shown for your college. Save the payment acknowledgement or receipt, then download the seat confirmation slip from the portal. You will need that slip when you report to the college.

The exact amount payable differs by institution and category, so go by what the portal shows for your allotment, not by what other candidates paid. Candidates who wait for the last hour of the day risk portal congestion, and KEA has given no indication of any extension.

Who the schedule applies to

The schedule covers two groups of candidates. The first is everyone who got a fresh seat on October 16. The second is those who entered options but did not secure a higher merit seat and retained the seat allotted in an earlier round. Both groups have to pay and take admission within the same schedule, and KEA has asked them to download the confirmation slip after fee payment to complete the process.

Reporting to the allotted college

Report in person by October 23 with the confirmation slip, the fee payment acknowledgement and your original documents. A practical way to avoid a second trip is to assemble the full file beforehand; our admission documents checklist walks through the papers most colleges ask for. Carry photocopies of everything as well, since colleges verify originals and keep a set.

Candidates who do not pay by October 19 or do not report by October 23 can lose the allotted seat. Round 2 is the final regular counselling round for PGCET 2026, so there is no next round to fall back on.
