The final allotment list for Karnataka’s NEET UG 2026 stray vacancy round is out. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) published it on October 22, 2026, and candidates can check their status on the KEA portal using their NEET UG 2026 login credentials. The authority has released separate allotment lists for the medical and dental streams.

The stray round is the stage where seats left vacant after the earlier counselling rounds find takers. For candidates who have been waiting through those rounds, today is the day the remaining state-quota MBBS and BDS seats get decided. Candidates who took part should now move fast, because the deadlines that follow the allotment are tight.

Fee payment and reporting deadlines

An allotment is only the first step. Candidates need to download the admission order from their KEA login and pay the course fee at the allotted college. The fee payment window runs from October 22 to 24, 2026. Portal traffic is usually heaviest near the deadline, so do not leave the payment to the last hour. Keep the transaction receipt alongside the downloaded admission order; both are needed at reporting.

After paying the fee, candidates must report to the allotted college by October 25, 2026, to complete admission. Keep original documents ready for verification at the time of reporting. Our admission documents checklist covers what medical colleges usually ask for at this stage.

Check the allotment only on the official KEA portal. Forwarded allotment lists on messaging apps are easy to fake, so log in and verify the result yourself before paying any fee.

Which seats this round covers

KEA conducts the Karnataka NEET UG counselling for 85% of the state quota seats in government medical colleges and 100% of the state quota seats in private medical and dental colleges. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats are filled through the Medical Counselling Committee, not KEA. Fee levels differ between government and private colleges, so check the fee schedule for your allotted college before the payment window closes.

Outside the state-quota process, Karnataka also has deemed universities such as Manipal Academy of Higher Education, which admit students through their own admission processes.
