3,268 candidates now have a postgraduate medical seat in Karnataka. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) published the final Round 1 seat allotment for NEET PG 2026 on November 6, covering MD and MS seats in government and private medical colleges across the state. The list is available as a PDF on the official KEA website, and the post-allotment deadlines are already running.
Each entry in the list shows the candidate’s All India Rank, course code, allotted college, MD or MS specialisation, admission category, course fee and allotment status. Candidates can search the PDF by rank or name to find their allotment, then follow the choice and fee steps KEA has set out. The counselling covers 50 percent state quota seats and all seats in private medical colleges, from a state pool of roughly 5,267 seats.
What allotted candidates must do next
The first step is to exercise a choice. The choice window opened at 4 pm on November 6 and stays open until 11 am on November 11. Candidates pick one of four options after reading what each one means for their seat. The fee payment challan can be downloaded between November 6 and 11, up to 4 pm, and fees must be paid by November 12 during banking hours.
Candidates who opt for Choice 1 have one more step. They must submit their original documents at the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, between November 11 and 13, along with the verification slip, fee payment receipt and other prescribed documents. The admission order can be downloaded in the same November 11 to 13 window. Reporting to the allotted medical college closes the process, and the last date for that is November 14, by 5:30 pm.
Anyone still sorting out paperwork can check the admission documents checklist before heading to the KEA office, since a missing document at that stage can cost a seat.
How the round reached this stage
The final allotment followed a provisional list published on November 5. Before that, KEA had published a Karnataka NEET PG Round 1 mock allotment and given candidates until 10 am on November 5 to add, delete or reorder their options. The option entry phase itself had run past its first deadline, after KEA extended it from 4 pm on November 2 to 12 noon on November 3.
Candidates who miss the November 11 choice deadline will not be able to complete admission in this round, so the dates matter more than the allotment itself. The result can be checked on the official KEA counselling portal by opening the PGET 2026 section, going to PG Medical counselling and clicking the Round 1 final seat allotment link.
