JEE Main 2026 Results Out! 13.55 Lakh Students का इंतजार खत्म – Toppers, Cutoff और क्या करें अब?

नई दिल्ली, 16 फरवरी 2026: लाखों students और parents का इंतजार आखिरकार खत्म हो गया! National Testing Agency (NTA) ने JEE Main 2026 Session 1 के results declare कर दिए हैं। इस बार 13.55 lakh candidates ने exam दिया था, जो अब तक की highest participation है।

Results के साथ ही social media पर celebration का माहौल है। कई students ने 99+ percentile score किया है। लेकिन सवाल यह है कि अब क्या करें? JEE Advanced के लिए eligible हैं या नहीं? Counselling कब शुरू होगी? इस article में सब कुछ detail में बताएंगे।

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Results – Key Highlights

NTA ने results official website jeemain.nta.nic.in पर release किए हैं। Students अपना scorecard download कर सकते हैं। इस बार का result analysis कुछ interesting trends दिखा रहा है।

Total Candidates: 13,55,000 (13.55 lakh) students ने exam दिया। यह पिछले साल से 8% ज्यादा है। Engineering की popularity बढ़ रही है।

Pass Percentage: लगभग 65-70% students ने qualifying marks score किए हैं। यानी 9 lakh से ज्यादा students qualify हुए हैं।

100 Percentile Scorers: इस बार 18-20 students ने perfect 100 percentile score किया है। यह number पिछले साल से थोड़ा कम है।

State-wise Performance: Rajasthan ने फिर से top किया है। सबसे ज्यादा high scorers Rajasthan से हैं। Telangana की performance में improvement दिखी है। UP, Bihar, Maharashtra से भी अच्छे results आए हैं।

Scorecard कैसे Download करें

Scorecard download करना बहुत आसान है। बस यह steps follow करें:

Step 1: Official website jeemain.nta.nic.in पर जाएं। Homepage पर “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result” का link दिखेगा।

Step 2: अपना Application Number और Date of Birth enter करें। Security code भी डालें।

Step 3: “Submit” button click करें। आपका scorecard screen पर आ जाएगा।

Step 4: Scorecard को carefully check करें। Subject-wise marks, total percentile, और All India Rank (AIR) देखें।

Step 5: Download button click करके PDF save कर लें। Print out भी निकाल लें – counselling में काम आएगा।

Scorecard में क्या-क्या Information होती है

JEE Main scorecard में यह details होती हैं:

• Personal Details: Name, roll number, date of birth, category
• Subject-wise Marks: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics में अलग-अलग marks
• Total Marks: 300 में से कितने marks मिले
• Percentile Score: Overall percentile और subject-wise percentile

Expected Cutoff Analysis

JEE Main 2026 की expected cutoff यह रही:

General Category: 89-90 percentile (qualifying के लिए)। Top NITs के लिए 95+ percentile चाहिए। IITs के लिए 97+ percentile।

OBC-NCL: 75-76 percentile qualifying cutoff। Good NITs के लिए 90+ percentile।

SC Category: 45-46 percentile qualifying। NITs में admission के लिए 70+ percentile helpful है।

ST Category: 40-41 percentile qualifying। NITs के लिए 65+ percentile।

EWS Category: 66-67 percentile qualifying। Top colleges के लिए 92+ percentile।

PwD Category: General के लिए 0.01 percentile, OBC के लिए 0.01 percentile, SC/ST के लिए 0.01 percentile।

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility

JEE Main में अच्छे marks आने के बाद सबसे बड़ा सवाल है – क्या JEE Advanced के लिए eligible हूं?

Eligibility Criteria:

• Top 2,50,000 students JEE Advanced के लिए eligible होंगे
• Category-wise distribution: General – 96,000, OBC – 67,500, SC – 40,500, ST – 20,250, EWS – 25,750
• 12th में minimum 75% marks (SC/ST के लिए 65%) compulsory हैं
• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics में separately pass होना जरूरी है
• Maximum 2 attempts allowed हैं JEE Advanced के लिए

JEE Advanced 2026 Important Dates:

• Registration Start: April 2026 (3rd week expected)

अगर JEE Advanced Eligible नहीं हैं तो क्या करें

JEE Advanced के लिए eligible नहीं हुए? Tension मत लो! बहुत सारे options हैं:

NITs और IIITs: JEE Main rank से ही NITs, IIITs, और GFTIs में admission होता है। 85+ percentile में अच्छे NITs मिल सकते हैं। Branch choice important है।

State Government Colleges: हर state के अपने engineering colleges हैं। UP में AKTU affiliated colleges, Maharashtra में government colleges – सब JEE Main rank accept करते हैं।

Private Universities: VIT, BITS Pilani, Manipal, SRM, Amity जैसी universities अच्छी हैं। अपना entrance exam भी होता है लेकिन JEE Main score भी accept करते हैं।

Session 2 Improvement: JEE Main Session 2 April 2026 में होगा। अगर Session 1 में performance अच्छी नहीं रही तो Session 2 में improve कर सकते हैं। Best score consider होगा।

JoSAA Counselling 2026 – Complete Process

JEE Main qualify करने के बाद counselling होती है। JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling conduct करती है।

Counselling Rounds: Total 6 rounds होंगे – 4 JoSAA rounds + 2 CSAB rounds। हर round में registration, choice filling, seat allotment, और acceptance होता है।

Registration: JoSAA की website josaa.nic.in पर registration करना होगा। Registration fee ₹2,000 (General/OBC) और ₹1,000 (SC/ST/PwD)।

Choice Filling: यह सबसे important step है। आप 100+ choices fill कर सकते हैं। Preference order carefully decide करें। Branch > College या College > Branch – strategy clear रखें।

Seat Allotment: Rank और choices के basis पर seat allot होती है। Allotment letter download करें।

State Counselling – AKTU, WBJEE, TNEA

JoSAA के अलावा state-level counselling भी होती हैं:

AKTU Counselling (UP): UP के students के लिए AKTU affiliated colleges में admission। 7 rounds होंगे। 1.09 lakh seats available हैं। Counselling July-August में होगी।

WBJEE (West Bengal): West Bengal के engineering colleges के लिए। WBJEE rank या JEE Main rank – दोनों accept होती हैं।

TNEA (Tamil Nadu): Tamil Nadu के colleges के लिए। 12th marks based admission होता है।

GGSIPU (Delhi): Delhi के IP University affiliated colleges। अपना entrance exam होता है लेकिन JEE Main rank भी consider होती है।

Branch Selection Strategy

Counselling में सबसे बड़ा confusion branch selection में होता है। यह tips follow करें:

Interest vs Placement: अगर coding में interest है तो CSE/IT लें। Core engineering में interest है तो Mechanical/Civil। लेकिन placement भी consider करें – CSE में सबसे ज्यादा placement होती है।

College vs Branch: Top NIT में lower branch या average NIT में CSE? यह depend करता है। अगर higher studies (MS/PhD) करनी है तो college reputation matter करती है। Job के लिए branch ज्यादा important है।

Emerging Branches: AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security – यह नए branches हैं। Future में demand बढ़ेगी। Consider कर सकते हैं।

Popular NITs की expected cutoff (General category, CSE branch):

• NIT Trichy: 99.5+ percentile, Rank 1,000-2,000
• NIT Surathkal: 99.4+ percentile, Rank 2,000-3,000
• NIT Warangal: 99.3+ percentile, Rank 3,000-4,000
• NIT Rourkela: 99.0+ percentile, Rank 5,000-6,000
• NIT Calicut: 98.8+ percentile, Rank 6,000-8,000

Other branches की cutoff इससे कम होगी। Mechanical में 95-97 percentile में भी top NITs मिल सकते हैं।

Financial Planning – Fees और Expenses

Engineering की fees और expenses plan करना जरूरी है:

IITs: Annual fees ₹2-2.5 lakh। 4 years में total ₹10 lakh। Hostel और mess fees extra ₹50,000-70,000 per year।

NITs: Annual fees ₹1.5-2 lakh। Total ₹8 lakh (4 years)। Hostel fees ₹30,000-50,000 per year।

IIITs: Fees vary करती है। PPP model IIITs में ₹3-4 lakh per year। Government IIITs में ₹1.5-2 lakh।

Private Colleges: ₹2-5 lakh per year। Top private universities (VIT, BITS) में ₹4-5 lakh per year।

Parents को यह बातें ध्यान में रखनी चाहिए:

Pressure न डालें: Results अच्छे नहीं आए तो बच्चे पर pressure न डालें। Session 2 का मौका है। State colleges भी अच्छे हैं।

Financial Planning: 4 साल की fees, hostel, और दूसरे expenses का budget बनाएं। Education loan की जरूरत हो तो early apply करें।

College Visit: Counselling से पहले shortlisted colleges visit करें। Campus, facilities, placement record देखें।

Branch Guidance: बच्चे की interest और aptitude देखकर branch select करें। Sirf placement देखकर decision न लें।

Common Mistakes से बचें

Mistake 1: Counselling में late registration। Deadline miss होने पर chance चला जाता है। Early register करें।
