INI CET January 2027 admit card out tomorrow: exam on November 1 for 1,500 PG seats

If you registered for INI CET January 2027, tomorrow is the day to check the AIIMS portal. The admit cards come out on October 26, six days before the exam on November 1, and no admit card is sent by post or email.

Admit card tomorrow, exam on November 1

AIIMS New Delhi runs the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test for admission to MD, MS, MDS, DM and MCh programmes. The January 2027 session exam is on November 1, 2026, from 9 am to 12 noon, as a computer-based test in a single shift at centres across India.

Registration for this session closed on October 13. AIIMS then opened a status and correction window from October 17 to 19, which shut at 5 pm on October 19. Candidates who had a rejected photograph, signature or thumb impression had those three days to fix it. The correction window closed on October 19, and an application still rejected after that gets no admit card.

How to download the admit card

1. Visit the official AIIMS exams portal and open the INI CET January 2027 section.
2. Log in with your registration ID and password.
3. Open the admit card link on your candidate page.
4. Check every detail on the card before downloading: your name, photograph, category, exam centre and reporting time.
5. Download the PDF and print at least two copies on A4 paper.

Download it on the day of release if you can. The portal gets heavy traffic in the first hours, and early morning hours usually have lower load. If a detail on the card does not match your application, raise it with AIIMS at once rather than waiting until exam week. The card is the only proof of your allotted centre, and the centre printed on it is the one you must report to.

What the exam covers

INI CET scores decide admission at the Institutes of National Importance: AIIMS campuses, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru and SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram. Together they offer more than 1,500 postgraduate medical seats in this session.

The January session is the first of the two INI CET sessions in a year. Candidates who miss it will have to wait for the July 2027 session, which is expected around May 2027.

After the exam: result and counselling

The result is expected on November 7, 2026, about a week after the exam. In the November session last year, the result came within six days of the exam, and the same pattern is expected this time.

Counselling is expected to begin in December 2026, running through mock rounds and further rounds for the participating institutes. Keep your registration ID, admit card and scorecard safe until counselling ends, since each round asks for them again.
