If you filed an INI CET January 2027 application, your correction time ends this evening. AIIMS New Delhi shuts the registration-status and correction window at 5 pm today, October 19, and it accepts no corrections after that.

The cutoff today

AIIMS opened the status and correction window on October 17, so today is the last of its three days. The application window itself closed on October 13, which means no fresh form can be filed now either. What you submitted is what the system judges.

What you can and cannot fix

Only items that AIIMS has flagged during scrutiny can be corrected: a rejected photograph, signature or left thumb impression, or basic details marked incorrect. If your dashboard shows everything as accepted, there is nothing to change.

A flagged item is more than a formality. Careerindia reports that a non-compliant image invites cancellation and that leaving a required fix undone can get the form rejected. So the first thing to do today is open the dashboard and read every remark against your application.

The usual reasons for rejection are a busy background, glare on spectacles, a tilted head, low resolution, or cropping at the hairline; signatures scanned in pencil or stylus; and thumb impressions that came out smudged or faint. The fix is straightforward: retake the photo in daylight against a plain background, write the signature in dark ink on white paper, scan cleanly, and upload exactly as the instructions say.

How to check and correct

  1. Visit the official AIIMS exams portal and open the INI CET January 2027 section.
  2. Log in with your candidate credentials.
  3. Check the registration status and read the remarks displayed against your application.
  4. Make the permitted corrections and save them.
  5. Review the updated application details.

After re-uploading, refresh the dashboard and confirm the status has moved from Rejected or Pending to Accepted. Careerindia advises against waiting for an email confirmation, and suggests using a desktop so that mobile compression does not degrade the images.

What happens after today

AIIMS will publish the final registration status and upload the admit cards on October 26. The exam is on November 1, 2026, a computer-based test at centres across India. The scores decide admission to MD, MS, DM, MCh and MDS programmes at the participating Institutes of National Importance.

Alongside INI CET, many aspirants are also following MCC’s NEET PG 2026 Round 1 counselling, where registration ends at noon on October 21 and the Round 1 result is due on October 24.

Print your admit card when it lands and keep it with your certificates. Our admission documents checklist lists the papers colleges usually ask for at the reporting stage.
