Working professionals have until November 20 to apply for a 10-month IIT Delhi programme that treats four years of work experience as the entry ticket.

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has opened admissions for Batch 6 of its Executive Management Programme in Advanced Strategic Management, run by the institute’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP). The course is aimed at experienced professionals who want to strengthen their strategic thinking and prepare for bigger leadership responsibilities. Classes begin on November 28, 2026.

Teaching is entirely through live online sessions in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode, so participants join from their own locations. Those who want time on campus can opt for a minimum three-day immersion at IIT Delhi; travel and stay are at the participant’s own cost.

What the programme teaches

The curriculum covers strategic intent and performance, strategic learning, strategic innovation, strategy evolution, leadership and change management, business transformation and global business strategy. Two themes run through the course: data-driven decision-making and artificial intelligence in business strategy. Every participant also completes a capstone project that applies what they learn to a real business challenge.

Prof. Sanjay Dhir, Professor in the Department of Management Studies at IIT Delhi, said: “Disruption today does not wait for the next business cycle. Leaders have to respond as it unfolds. That makes strategy a core business need, not just a leadership edge.”

Fees, eligibility and certification

The programme fee is ₹1,70,000 plus GST, and the application fee is ₹2,000 plus GST. Applicants must hold a recognised graduate degree in any discipline and have at least four years of work experience.

Participants who secure at least 50% marks and maintain a minimum attendance of 50% will receive an e-Certificate of Completion from CEP, IIT Delhi.

How to apply

Applications can be submitted through the CEP, IIT Delhi admission portal. Jaro Education is the programme’s service partner for admissions. Keep your degree certificate and work-experience details handy before you start the form; our admission documents checklist covers the scans and records worth preparing in advance.

Applications close on November 20, so anyone considering Batch 6 should file early rather than leave it to the last week.
