The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur has released the full fee structure for its Executive MBA 2027-29 batch. The two-year programme costs Rs 12 lakh, and applications close on December 23, 2026.
The programme runs in blended mode, mixing online classes with on-campus immersion at Kashipur. It is built for working professionals who want a management degree without leaving their jobs. The institute also runs a shorter, one-year Executive Post Graduate Certificate in General Management.
The fee breakup
The Rs 12 lakh is spread across eight terms. Terms 1 to 4 are priced at Rs 1.5 lakh each; terms 5 to 8 at Rs 1.35 lakh each. A one-time admission fee of Rs 50,000 and a refundable caution deposit of Rs 10,000 sit on top of the course fee, which is why the first-year outgo is higher: Rs 6.6 lakh in year one, Rs 5.4 lakh in year two. Who can apply
Two conditions, both measured on the application date. First, a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks for general-category candidates, 47 per cent for non-creamy-layer OBC candidates, and 45 per cent for SC, ST and differently-abled candidates. Second, at least three years of managerial, entrepreneurial or professional experience after graduation.
No CAT or GMAT score is needed. IIM Kashipur runs its own Executive Management Aptitude Test for this batch, so professionals who never sat for a national entrance test can still apply. Candidates who do hold a valid CAT or GMAT score are accepted on that basis as well.
This is a separate track from IIM Kashipur’s flagship full-time MBA, which admits through CAT. The executive track is meant for people already in the workforce, and the three-year experience floor means fresh graduates cannot apply.
There is also an Analytics variant of the EMBA with its own schedule. For that track, phase-1 applications close on January 4, 2027, the admission test and personal interview are on January 9 and 10, 2027, and results are declared on January 15, 2027.

The application is fully online on the institute’s official admission portal. Register with a valid email ID, fill in academic, professional and personal details, upload documents and a photograph in the prescribed format, pay the application fee, and submit before the deadline. Get your mark sheets, degree certificate and experience letters scanned before you start; forms filed in the final hours usually run into server congestion.
