Medical aspirants in Haryana have until 11:59 pm on November 7 to finish their work in the state NEET UG counselling round now under way. Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak opened the special stray round on November 3 through Notification 209, for MBBS seats left vacant after earlier rounds and for the fifth round of BDS counselling.
The round follows the regular stray round, which concluded on October 26. It covers vacant MBBS and BDS seats in Haryana’s state quota medical and dental colleges, and it is the last chance in the state round for candidates still without a seat.
What closes on November 7
The window that opened on November 3 covers fresh registration, editing of information already submitted, and submission and locking of choices. All of it closes at 11:59 pm on November 7 on the official portal.
Candidates who registered in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 or the earlier stray round do not need to register again. They still need to submit fresh choices in this window and lock them before the deadline. Candidates who never registered can register now. An unlocked choice list does not count, so locking matters as much as filling the form.
Candidates still weighing up colleges can work through our guide to choosing a university in India before they lock their choices.
Dates after the window closes
Provisional allocation is scheduled for November 10. Candidates can raise grievances on the provisional list, after which the university uploads the final allocation list.
Candidates who get a seat pay the provisional tuition fee online between November 10 and November 14, up to 5 pm on the last day. The last date for joining the allotted institute is November 16, up to 4 pm.
The schedule also requires candidates to appear in person with original documents before the admission committee at UHSR Rohtak. The notice says candidature will not be considered if a candidate fails to appear, so the documents should be ready before the allocation list comes out. Our admission documents checklist covers the papers candidates are usually asked for.
How to apply
Applications run through the official Haryana counselling portal. The university has asked candidates to visit the notifications page of the portal regularly for updates, and the schedule for this round is published there.
