If your name is on Gujarat’s NEET PG Round 1 allotment list, November 6 is the date that decides whether the seat stays yours. The Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) has published the first round of allotments for MD, MS and diploma courses for 2026-27, and the fee payment and reporting window closes that day.

A total of 2,329 candidates were allotted seats in Round 1. The split across quotas was 1,542 government quota seats, 489 institutional seats, 253 management quota seats, 37 NRI seats and 8 in-service seats. The round covered government, grant-in-aid and self-financed medical colleges in the state.

The allotment followed a merit list of 6,094 candidates. Of those, 5,847 took part in choice filling, which ran from October 27 until 10 am on October 31. Only candidates who had registered with ACPPGMEC and submitted choices were considered, and seats were allotted on NEET PG 2026 rank, category and the order of preferences each candidate had filled.

359 seats still vacant after Round 1

Not every seat found a taker in the first round. A total of 359 seats remained vacant, made up of 244 MD seats, 102 MS seats, 12 DNB seats and 1 diploma seat. Those seats have not yet been converted to other categories, so the number that opens up in Round 2 may differ from this count.

Round 2 details will follow after Round 1 reporting ends, so candidates who were not allotted a seat should keep checking the official portal.

Fee payment and reporting: the November 6 deadlines

Allotted candidates have two steps to complete, and both end on November 6. Tuition fees can be paid online or at a designated Axis Bank branch by 2 pm on November 6, 2026. Reporting at a help centre runs from 10 am on November 2 until 4 pm on November 6, 2026.

Fee payment alone does not complete admission, and reporting without the fee receipt will not help either. Candidates should carry original documents and photocopies for verification. Our admission documents checklist covers the certificates and identity proofs colleges usually ask for at this stage.

The committee has published three allotment documents on the portal: the merit-wise allotment list, the institute and branch-wise allotment list, and the reporting advisory. Candidates should check both lists, since the merit-wise list confirms the allotment and the institute-wise list shows the college and course in detail.

How to check the allotment list

Candidates can check the Round 1 result on the official ACPPGMEC counselling portal. The allotment lists are published as PDFs, and candidates can search them by NEET PG roll number or application number.

Anyone allotted a seat should download the allotment documents, note the fee amount, and plan the help-centre visit before November 6. The committee has said failure to report by then will cancel the seat, so leaving either step to the final hours risks a payment or document problem.

For further notices, including the Round 2 schedule, follow the official ACPPGMEC website rather than forwarded lists, which may carry older versions of the schedule.
