CUET 2026 Registration Extended – Last Date, Exam Dates और Important Updates

नई दिल्ली, 3 मार्च 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) ने CUET UG 2026 registration window को दोबारा खोल दिया है। Students जो पहले register नहीं कर पाए थे, उनके लिए यह last chance है। Registration 26 February 2026 तक बढ़ा दी गई है।

CUET (Common University Entrance Test) देश की 210 से ज्यादा universities में admission के लिए जरूरी है। इसमें Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University जैसी top universities शामिल हैं।

CUET 2026 Important Dates

NTA ने officially announce किया है कि CUET 2026 exam May महीने में conduct होगा। यह tentative dates हैं:

Registration Last Date: 26 February 2026 (Extended)
Correction Window: 28 February – 2 March 2026
Admit Card Release: April 2026 (3rd week expected)
Exam Dates: 11-31 May 2026
Result Declaration: June 2026 (3rd-4th week expected)

Registration Process – Step by Step

CUET 2026 के लिए registration purely online है। Students को official website cuet.samarth.ac.in पर जाना होगा।

Step 1: Website पर जाएं और “New Registration” click करें। Basic details भरें – Name, Email, Mobile Number। Valid email और mobile number दें क्योंकि OTP verification होगा।

Step 2: Application form में personal details, educational qualification, और address भरें। 12th की marksheet देखकर details accurately भरें।

Step 3: Test cities select करें। आप 4 cities choose कर सकते हैं। First preference में अपने nearest city को रखें।

Step 4: Subjects select करें। यह सबसे important step है। आपको 3 types के papers देने होंगे:

• Language Paper: 13 languages में से कोई भी choose करें। यह compulsory है।
• Domain Subjects: अपने stream के according subjects choose करें। Maximum 6 subjects select कर सकते हैं।
• General Test: यह optional है लेकिन कई universities इसे mandatory मानती हैं।

Step 5: Photo और signature upload करें। Format JPG/JPEG होना चाहिए। File size 50KB से कम रखें।

Step 6: Application fee pay करें। General category के लिए ₹1,000 (4 subjects तक)। हर additional subject के लिए ₹200 extra। SC/ST students के लिए ₹500।

BHU और AMU Admission के लिए CUET

Banaras Hindu University ने announce किया है कि BA, BSc, BCom जैसे UG courses में admission के लिए CUET score mandatory है। BHU का अपना entrance exam अब नहीं होगा।

BHU admission 2026 के लिए students को दो steps follow करने होंगे: पहले CUET exam दें, फिर BHU की CAP (Combined Allotment Program) portal पर registration करें। CUET result आने के बाद BHU counselling शुरू होगी।

Aligarh Muslim University भी CUET scores accept कर रही है। AMU में 10 से ज्यादा UG courses के लिए CUET through admission होगा। लेकिन AMU की अपनी application form separately भरनी होगी।

Subject Selection Strategy

CUET में subject selection बहुत carefully करनी चाहिए। यह आपके 12th stream और desired course पर depend करता है।

Arts Students के लिए: अगर BA Honours करना है तो उस subject को Domain Subject में जरूर लें। जैसे English Honours के लिए English Domain Subject compulsory है। साथ में 1-2 और subjects भी ले सकते हैं backup के लिए।

Science Students के लिए: BSc करने वाले students Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics Domain Subjects में लें। Medical aspirants Biology जरूर लें।

Commerce Students के लिए: BCom या BBA के लिए Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics subjects लें। Mathematics भी helpful है।

Exam Pattern और Syllabus

CUET 2026 computer-based test (CBT) mode में होगा। हर section के लिए अलग time slot होगा।

Language Paper: 50 questions, 45 minutes। Reading comprehension based होगा। 12th level का syllabus।

Domain Subjects: हर subject में 50 questions, 45 minutes। Syllabus NCERT Class 12 based है। MCQ format होगा।

General Test: 75 questions में से 60 attempt करने होंगे। Time 60 minutes। General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning से questions आएंगे।

Marking Scheme: हर correct answer के लिए +5 marks। Negative marking है – हर wrong answer पर -1 mark कटेगा। Unattempted questions पर कोई marks नहीं कटेंगे।

Preparation Tips

CUET की तैयारी के लिए NCERT books सबसे important हैं। 60-70% questions directly NCERT से आते हैं। Class 11-12 की सभी NCERT books thoroughly पढ़ें।

Previous year papers solve करें। NTA की official website पर sample papers available हैं। Mock tests regularly दें – time management improve होगी।

Current affairs के लिए daily newspaper पढ़ें। Last 6 months की important news cover करें। Monthly current affairs magazines helpful हैं।

General Test के लिए reasoning और numerical ability practice करें। RS Aggarwal की book use कर सकते हैं।

Admit Card और Exam Day Guidelines

Admit card April 2026 में release होगा। Students को official website से download करना होगा। Admit card में exam date, time, center की details होंगी।

Exam center पर valid photo ID proof लेकर जाना compulsory है। Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, passport – कोई भी ले सकते हैं।

Exam hall में mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches strictly prohibited हैं। Rough sheets exam center पर provide की जाएंगी।

Result और Counselling Process

CUET 2026 result June महीने में expected है। Result में subject-wise scores और percentile दिखेगी। Percentile के basis पर universities में admission होगा।

हर university की अपनी counselling process होगी। Delhi University, BHU, AMU सबकी separate counselling होगी। Students को हर university की website पर separately register करना होगा।

Counselling में document verification, choice filling, seat allotment – यह steps होंगे। Original documents ready रखें।

Common Mistakes से बचें

सबसे बड़ी गलती यह है कि students subject selection में confusion करते हैं। University की website पर जाकर check करें कि आपके desired course के लिए कौन से subjects जरूरी हैं।

दूसरी गलती यह है कि General Test को skip कर देते हैं। कई universities General Test score mandatory मानती हैं। Better है कि General Test भी दें।

तीसरी गलती यह है कि correction window miss कर देते हैं। Form submit करने के बाद mistakes दिखें तो correction window में जरूर correct करें।

Fee Structure और Payment

CUET 2026 application fee structure यह है:

• General/OBC: ₹1,000 (4 subjects तक), हर extra subject के लिए ₹200
• SC/ST/PwD: ₹500 (4 subjects तक), हर extra subject के लिए ₹100
• EWS: ₹1,000 (4 subjects तक), हर extra subject के लिए ₹200

Payment online करनी होगी – debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI सब options available हैं। Payment successful होने के बाद confirmation email आएगा।
