November 11 is the last date that matters in this round. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh has released the NEET PG 2026 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result, and candidates who have been allotted a seat must finish scrutiny and admission by that date. The authority issued two notices on November 3 confirming the allotment outcome and the reporting instructions.

The allotment list is published as a PDF on the official allotment portal. Candidates do not need login credentials to view it, and checking it early leaves time to plan travel for the in-person process that follows.

Two reporting windows, both in person

Scrutiny and admission in this round are held in physical mode, in two windows. The first window runs from November 2 to November 6. In that window, scrutiny closes at 2 pm on November 6 and admission closes at 3 pm the same day. The second window runs on November 10 and 11, with scrutiny closing at 4 pm on November 11 and admission closing at 5 pm on November 11.

Candidates who miss the first window still have the second one, but it covers two days only. Anyone allotted a seat should treat November 11 as a hard stop, since document verification has to be completed before admission can be confirmed.

Where to go for scrutiny and admission

The reporting venue depends on the type of college. For government medical colleges, scrutiny and admission take place at the allotted institute itself. Candidates report to the college named in their allotment list and complete the process there.

For private medical colleges, scrutiny is held at the Teacher Training Institute Building of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh in Uparwara, Nava Raipur.

What this round covers

Round 1 covers state quota seats in MD, MS and postgraduate diploma courses at government and private medical colleges across Chhattisgarh. Admission is confirmed only after document verification at the college level, so an allotment on the PDF is not the end of the process. It is the start of a short reporting window.

Only candidates who registered on the counselling portal between October 22 and October 27, 2026, and locked their choices are considered in this round. The DME has said it will announce the Round 2 registration schedule and a revised seat matrix after Round 1 reporting closes.

Check the documents before you travel

Reporting starts with original documents, and a missing certificate can cost a candidate the seat they have just been allotted. Our admission documents checklist sets out the originals and copies that reporting desks usually ask for. Reading it before leaving home is worth the time, especially for candidates in the second window who have only November 10 and 11 to complete the process.

Candidates weighing a state quota seat against an All India Quota seat should also read our guide on central vs state vs private universities before reporting. Once admission is taken in this round, later choices narrow.
