October 31 is the last day for Bihar’s medical aspirants to claim the seat they were allotted in the final round of state counselling. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has set October 29 to October 31, 2026, for document verification and admission in the UGMAC 2026 stray vacancy round. Anyone allotted a seat who does not report within those three days will not complete admission through this round.

The board issued the schedule in Advisory No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/17, dated October 29, 2026. The provisional seat allotment result for the stray round was published on October 28, and the window to download the allotment order runs from October 28 to October 31. Candidates should download the order before they travel, since the college will work from the college name, course and quota printed on it.

The stray vacancy round is the last stage of Bihar NEET UG 2026 counselling. It fills seats left vacant after Round 3 in government and private institutions across the state, including colleges affiliated to Bihar University of Health Sciences. The round covers MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. and A.H., and B.F.Sc. seats. Only candidates who registered for the stray round by October 24 are part of it. No fresh registration is being taken now, so a candidate who did not register in time cannot enter at the reporting stage.

How to report for admission

Go to the official BCECEB portal and open the UGMAC 2026 section. Log in with your UGMAC ID and date of birth, check the allotted college and course, and download the provisional allotment order. Take a printout of the order with you to the allotted college.

At the college, officials will verify original documents against the details in the allotment order. Candidates are usually asked for the NEET UG admit card and scorecard, the stray round rank card, the allotment order, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates, domicile proof where required, and a valid photo identity proof. Our admission documents checklist runs through the certificates most often needed, and going through it before leaving home can save a wasted trip.

What to check before you leave

Read the allotment order line by line. If the college name or course on the order does not match what you saw on the portal, sort it out with the board or the college before the window closes rather than after. Reporting ends on October 31, and this round does not have another stage after it for these seats. Candidates who find no allotment against their name have no further step in this round.
