Medical aspirants in Bihar get one last shot starting today. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has opened registration for the UGMAC 2026 stray vacancy round, the final counselling round for undergraduate medical admissions in the state. Notices numbered BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14 and BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/15, dated October 18, 2026, put the registration window at October 19 to October 21, closing at 10 pm.

The round covers MBBS and BDS seats left vacant in Bihar’s government and private medical and dental colleges, along with seats in Ayush courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) and veterinary and fisheries streams, according to the notices. Who can register

One clarification: this is the state round. The Medical Counselling Committee’s separate national stray round for All India Quota seats ran on its own schedule, so the two should not be confused.
