Today is the last day to finish Bihar’s medical seat formalities for Round 3. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) had released the UGMAC 2026 Round 3 provisional seat allotment result on October 14, and the window to download the allotment order closes today, October 17. Document verification and admission at the allotted colleges is scheduled for October 16 and 17, so anyone who has not reported yet is down to the final hours.

What closes today

BCECEB kept the provisional allotment order download open on the official portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, from October 14 to October 17. After today, that window shuts. The reporting colleges are conducting document verification and completing admissions across October 16 and 17, which means a candidate who misses both days risks losing the seat allotted to them in this round.

The Round 3 result covers MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. admissions in government and private institutions across Bihar, including the 85% state quota seats in government medical colleges. The allotment list is published as a PDF with no login needed. Candidates can open it from the UGMAC section of the BCECEB portal and search for their roll number.

How Round 3 played out

This was the third counselling stage of UGMAC 2026. The seat matrix was published on September 30, registration opened on October 3 and closed on October 6, and the rank card followed on October 8. Choice filling, editing and locking closed on October 9 at 11:59 pm, and the provisional allotment result came out on October 14. Allotment order download ran from October 14 to today.

What to carry for verification

Allotted candidates must report to their designated reporting centres with original documents. Typically BCECEB asks for the NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates, the UGMAC allotment order, a photo ID, and caste or category certificates where applicable. Keep originals and self-attested photocopies ready. With only two days allotted for verification, a missing certificate leaves no time to fetch one, so our admission documents checklist is worth a read before you leave home.

What comes next

Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 3 still have a route open. They can give their consent to join the stray vacancy round for seats that remain vacant after Round 3 reporting. No fresh registration will be offered for later stages, so registered candidates should keep an eye on the BCECEB portal for the stray round notice.

AYUSH admissions in Bihar run separately. UGMAC covers only MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. seats; BAMS, BHMS and other AYUSH courses go through a separate BCECEB counselling, UGMAC[AYUSH]-2026, on its own portal.

All notices, seat allotment PDFs and the reporting centre list are on the official BCECEB portal. Anything about the stray vacancy round will appear there first.
