Round 1 schedule, in order
BCECEB put the Round 1 seat matrix on its website on October 21, a day before registration opened. That document lists the college-wise and course-wise seat break-up for government and private colleges, so it is worth reading before entering a single choice. The rest of the timeline:

- Choice filling, editing and locking: up to October 31, 11:59 PM
- Round 1 seat allotment result: November 4
- Allotment order download: November 4 to 9
- Document verification and admission: November 6 to 9
Choice order deserves more attention than most candidates give it. Where a candidate lands depends as much on the order of locked choices as on the rank, so the preference list should be reviewed top to bottom before locking. If Round 1 does not work out
Candidates who do not take a seat in Round 1 get a free-exit window on November 17 and 18. Choice filling for Round 2 begins on November 19, and the Round 2 allotment result is scheduled for November 25. BCECEB has said the schedules for the third and fourth rounds will be announced separately.
