The regular registration window for Andhra Pradesh NEET PG 2026 Management Quota counselling shuts at 10 PM today, October 23. After that, the only way in is the one-day late-fee window on October 24, running 9 AM to 10 PM. The price of missing tonight’s deadline is steep: a candidate from within Andhra Pradesh pays Rs 7,000 today and Rs 27,000 tomorrow.

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, is running the counselling for PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses for the 2026-27 academic session. The seats on offer are management quota seats in unaided non-minority and minority private medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, plus the new government medical colleges in the state. Registration has been open since 4 PM on October 19 on the university’s counselling portal at drntr.uhsap.in.

What the late fee does to your pocket

The application fee depends on where the candidate did their MBBS. Paying on time versus one day late changes the bill by Rs 20,000 across every category:

Candidates within Andhra Pradesh pay Rs 7,000 now and Rs 27,000 on October 24. Those who did their MBBS outside Andhra Pradesh pay Rs 10,000 now and Rs 30,000 late. Candidates who studied outside India pay Rs 14,000 now and Rs 34,000 late. The fee is paid online through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.

The registration fee is only the entry ticket. The annual tuition fee for management quota seats runs at Rs 11,42,640 for clinical courses, Rs 3,57,075 for para-clinical courses and Rs 1,61,874 for pre-clinical courses. On top of that, admitted candidates pay a one-time non-refundable university fee of Rs 54,600.

Who can apply

Only NEET PG 2026 qualified candidates can register. The cut-offs are the 50th percentile for General and EWS (262 out of 720), the 45th percentile for General-PwBD (244) and the 40th percentile for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates in those categories (226). The MBBS internship must have been completed on or before September 30, 2026.

Candidates who did their undergraduate medical qualification outside India must have qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination and must be registered with the Medical Council of India and the AP State Medical Council, with the internship completed by the same September 30 cut-off.

How to apply before tonight

Applications are submitted only on the official NTRUHS portal. Register with personal details, fill in the academic information, upload the required documents in the prescribed format and pay the fee online. The NEET PG scorecard, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, Aadhaar card and passport-size photographs are the core documents; our admission documents checklist covers the scans and certificates worth preparing in advance. Save the submitted form for records.

What happens after registration

The counselling runs in four stages: Phase-I allotment, Phase-II allotment, the Phase-III mop-up round and the stray vacancy round. After registration closes, NTRUHS publishes the Phase-I provisional merit list and the seat matrix on its website, followed by the document verification schedule.

Candidates aiming for the mop-up or stray rounds should note the security deposit. NTRUHS has made a refundable Rs 3,00,000 deposit mandatory for Phase-III and subsequent rounds to stop seat blocking. The deposit is forfeited if a candidate does not join an allotted seat within the notified time, so work out the full cost, tuition plus the one-time university fee, before committing.
