October 27 is the date to circle. Candidates allotted a seat in AP EDCET 2026 Phase 1 counselling have until that day to finish self-reporting and report in person to their allotted B.Ed college. The Phase 1 allotment result, declared on October 23, covers B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education seats across Andhra Pradesh for the 2026-27 academic year.
Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, is the conducting body for AP EDCET 2026. The result is available through the Candidate Login on the official Common Admission Portal, where candidates sign in with their username and password to see the college and course allotted to them.
Once the allotment shows up, the next step is acceptance. Candidates who get a seat should click Confirm on the portal. If a tuition fee applies, the amount appears on screen and can be paid online, after which the seat allotment order is generated. Candidates covered by the fee reimbursement scheme can accept the seat directly and download the allotment order without that payment.
Reporting runs October 24 to 27
Self-reporting and physical reporting both run from October 24 to October 27, and the schedule lists October 24 as the start of B.Ed classes as well. Allotted candidates should plan to report within that window.
At the college, staff verify the documents and then confirm the admission. The allotment letter is the first paper they will ask for, so download it and carry a printout along with the originals.
Candidates should carry the following for verification:
- AP EDCET 2026 hall ticket and rank card
- Seat allotment order and seat acceptance letter
- SSC certificate, Intermediate marks memo, and degree provisional certificate with marks memos
- Transfer certificate and study certificates from Class 6 to degree level
- Caste and income certificates, where applicable, plus Aadhaar card and passport-size photographs
Reserved category, EWS, BC, Sports and NCC candidates should also carry the certificates for their category. Our admission documents checklist runs through the standard set in the same order, for anyone who wants to tick items off before leaving home.
How Phase 1 got here
The counselling schedule moved quickly through October. Registration and fee payment ran from October 5 to 12, certificate verification at helpline centres ran from October 6 to 19, and web options ran from October 14 to 18, with one day, October 19, to edit choices. The Phase 1 allotment on October 23 followed that sequence, so the choices candidates saved in that window decided the allotment.
For candidates still choosing between colleges in later rounds, our guide on how to choose a university in India covers fees, location and course strength.
If no seat came through
A blank allotment in Phase 1 is not the end of the process. Candidates who did not get a seat can wait for second phase counselling under the convenor quota, or they can opt for management quota admission at a private B.Ed college. The second phase dates will be released only after the Phase 1 reporting process closes on October 27.
For now, the only deadline that counts is October 27. Allotted candidates should confirm on the portal, pay any fee shown, and report to the college with their documents before that day ends.
