Reporting for the first round of AIAPGET postgraduate counselling starts today, November 6. The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) published the Round 1 provisional seat allotment on November 5, and candidates who have been given a seat have until November 13 to report at the allotted institute. Anyone who does not report in time loses the seat.
The allotment covers All India Quota seats for MD and MS programmes in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy. Seats in deemed universities and central universities are part of the same round. AACCC has published the allotment as separate PDF lists for each course, showing the candidate’s rank, the institute allotted, the course, the quota and the category.
How to check the allotment
Candidates need to log in on the official AACCC portal and open the Provisional Allotment Letter Round 1 link. The login asks for the roll number, password and security pin. The provisional allotment letter can then be downloaded and printed.
The letter is worth reading line by line before travelling. Check the allotted college, the discipline, the category and the reservation benefit printed on it. The provisional stage exists so errors can be fixed before the final list, but the window for raising objections has already closed. AACCC accepted grievances only till 3 pm on November 5.
Reporting runs from November 6 to 13
Reporting is in person at the allotted institute, between November 6 and 13, 2026. Candidates who miss the deadline forfeit the seat, and the admission is not confirmed. AACCC had said the final Round 1 allotment would follow later on November 5, so candidates should check the portal for the final list before setting out.
Carry original documents along with photocopies. The list includes the AIAPGET 2026 admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates, the BAMS, BSMS, BUMS or BHMS degree and mark sheets, the internship completion certificate, a category certificate where applicable, a government-issued photo identity proof and a printout of the provisional allotment letter. Missing papers can delay or cancel the admission. Our admission documents checklist covers the same set in one place.
A short, restarted cycle
This round follows a restart. AACCC published the first counselling schedule on October 20, withheld the process on October 27 for administrative reasons, and published a revised schedule on October 30. Registration and choice filling under the revised schedule closed on November 3, and the allotment was processed on November 4.
The central process covers 15 percent All India Quota seats in government and government-aided AYUSH colleges, all seats in central universities and national institutes, all deemed university seats, and the internal seats of Banaras Hindu University’s Faculty of Ayurveda.
What comes next
The Round 2 schedule is expected once Round 1 reporting ends on November 13. Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1, or who did not register at all, should watch the AACCC portal for the Round 2 dates. Each round opens fresh registration, so missing Round 1 does not end the process.
