If you qualified AIAPGET 2026, the next step is finally moving. The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) published the PG counselling schedule on October 20, putting both the time schedule and the information bulletin on its official portal, aaccc.gov.in. Candidates who cleared the national test can now register online for the first round of MD and MS admissions in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy.
Which seats this counselling covers
The central process fills a defined pool of postgraduate AYUSH seats. It takes in 15 percent All India Quota seats of government and government-aided colleges, all seats of central universities and national institutes, all seats of deemed universities offering AYUSH PG courses, and the internal seats of Banaras Hindu University’s Faculty of Ayurveda. This is the single central route for these seats, so missing a deadline on this portal shuts you out for the year.
What you pay to register
Registration carries a non-refundable fee plus a refundable security deposit, set by the type of institute you choose. For government, government-aided, central and national institutes, the registration charge is Rs 2,000 for UR and OBC candidates and Rs 1,000 for SC, ST and PwD candidates, with a Rs 20,000 security deposit for everyone. Deemed university aspirants pay Rs 5,000 as registration fee with a Rs 50,000 security deposit. The security deposit comes back to candidates who do not get a seat or exit the process without one.
How to register
The process is fully online. Go to the official AACCC portal, open the AIAPGET 2026 PG counselling link, and register with your AIAPGET 2026 roll number and application details. Fill in your personal, academic and category details, pay the fee online, then fill and lock your choices of colleges and courses before the deadline. AACCC asks candidates to register fresh for every round they wish to take part in, so a later round needs a new registration even if you registered earlier.
Keep your documents ready
At reporting time you will need originals: the AIAPGET 2026 scorecard and admit card, the allotment letter downloaded from the AACCC portal, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, your BAMS, BUMS, BSMS or BHMS degree and mark sheets, the internship completion certificate, a valid category certificate if applicable, and a government photo ID. Our admission documents checklist explains how to keep these scans in order before you begin.
For context, AIAPGET 2026 was held on August 22, 2026, with the result declared on September 18. Of the 51,482 candidates who registered, 49,864 appeared for the test.
