Lucknow University BA Admission 2026 Important Dates

Admission schedule हर साल May-June में announce होता है। UP Board के results आने के बाद admission process शुरू होती है। यह tentative dates हैं:

Online Registration: June 1st week से शुरू होता है। Last date usually June 3rd-4th week होती है। Late fees के साथ 1 week extra मिलता है।

Merit List: First merit list July 1st week में आती है। Second और third merit lists भी निकलती हैं अगर seats खाली रहती हैं।

Document Verification: Merit list के बाद 3-5 days में document verification होता है। Online और offline दोनों options होते हैं।

Fee Payment: Document verification के बाद 2-3 days में fees जमा करनी होती है। Online payment preferred है।

Classes Start: Usually August 1st week से classes शुरू होती हैं। Orientation program पहले होता है।

Eligibility Criteria – कौन Apply कर सकता है

BA में admission के लिए आपको 12th pass होना जरूरी है। किसी भी stream से – Science, Commerce या Arts। Minimum 45% marks चाहिए (SC/ST के लिए 40%)।

Age limit नहीं है। कोई भी age का student apply कर सकता है। लेकिन same year में 12th pass होना जरूरी नहीं – previous years के students भी apply कर सकते हैं।

UP domicile होना जरूरी नहीं है। Other states के students भी apply कर सकते हैं लेकिन fees थोड़ी ज्यादा होती है।

BA Courses और Subjects Available

Lucknow University में BA के तीन types हैं: BA Programme, BA Honours, BA Vocational।

BA Programme: इसमें आप 3 subjects choose करते हैं। Popular combinations: History-Political Science-Economics, Hindi-English-Sociology, Psychology-Philosophy-Education।

BA Honours: Single subject में specialization। English Honours, Hindi Honours, History Honours, Political Science Honours, Economics Honours available हैं। Cutoff थोड़ी high होती है।

BA Vocational: Skill-based courses जैसे Tourism, Media Studies, Computer Applications। Job-oriented हैं।

Step by Step Admission Process

Step 1: Online Registration

Lucknow University की official website https://www.lkouniv.ac.in पर जाएं। Admission portal का link homepage पर मिलेगा। “New Registration” पर click करें।

Basic details भरें: Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID। Valid email और mobile number दें क्योंकि सारी updates यहीं आएंगी।

Registration के बाद आपको User ID और Password मिलेगा। यह save करके रखें। Login credentials भूल गए तो problem होगी।

Step 2: Fill Application Form

Login करने के बाद application form खुलेगा। सारी details carefully भरें। Personal details, educational qualification, address – सब accurate होना चाहिए।

12th की marksheet देखकर marks भरें। Board name, roll number, passing year सही डालें। Mistakes होने पर form reject हो सकता है।

Course preference select करें। आप 3-5 courses choose कर सकते हैं priority के according। First preference में वो course डालें जो सबसे ज्यादा चाहिए।

Step 3: Upload Documents

Documents scan करके upload करने होंगे। Format JPG या PDF होना चाहिए। File size 100KB से ज्यादा नहीं होनी चाहिए।

Step 4: Fee Payment

Application fee ₹500 है general category के लिए। SC/ST students के लिए ₹250। Payment online करनी होती है – debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI सब options हैं।

Payment successful होने के बाद receipt download करें। Print out निकाल लें। Document verification में यह चाहिए होगा।

Step 5: Form Submit और Print

सारी details check करने के बाद final submit करें। Submit करने के बाद changes नहीं कर सकते। Application form का printout निकालें। इसमें आपका registration number होगा।

Merit List कैसे बनती है

Lucknow University में admission purely merit-based है। 12th के marks के according merit list बनती है। कोई entrance exam नहीं है।

Cutoff हर course और category के लिए अलग होती है। BA Honours में cutoff high होती है – 85-90% तक जा सकती है। BA Programme में 60-70% में admission मिल जाता है।
