What is the UGC NET General Aptitude Test and how shall i prepare for the UGC NET Exam

  1. UGC NET Exam is conducted for the aspirants having interest in the lectureship and Research field. If you have completed the masters in the Commerce, Arts, Humanities or Computer Science field you can make a wonderful career in the lectureship program. The UGC NET Exam is conducted in two phases mainly UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UGC NET Paper 1 is the General Aptitude test that has to be given by all the candidates appearing in the UGC NET Exam from any subject. Means this phase is common for all. UGC NET Paper 2 would be conducted in the subject you choose for the exam.

    The UGC NET Paper 1 has 50 Questions asked in the exam. The time duration is 60 minutes whereas there is no negative marking in the UGC NET Exam. Each question asked in the exam is of 2 marks.

    Mostly students prepare for the Paper 2 but it’s very essential to prepare for the both Phase 1 and 2 on equal basis. To avail good score in the UGC NET Exam in General Aptitude test you can prepare well the given topics below-
