    Instructions for

    1. This application is for the Ph.D admission process of 2015 on the vacant seats for the candidates candidates of both stream

    i. Those coming through qualifying Entrance Test (Q.E.T.), and

    ii. Those who are exempted from Q.E.T.

    2. Candidates are required to read the Ph.D. admission procedure, eligibility etc.

    3. The applicants seeking admission through Q.E.T. on the date and place fixed by the Admission Committee and notified by the University on its Website http://www.lkouniv.ac.in

    4. For the Date of Entrance Lucknow University website regularly

    5. For appearing in the test, candidates are required to bring original PG Marksheet appearing certificate, Photo ID and print out of the Application Form along with a Xerox copy of these documents. No separate admit card would be issued.

    6. Complete all the required steps in the application form

    7. Candidates satisfying eligibility criteria as 2015 only shall be allowed to appear in the Interview, etc.

    Instructions for Form Filling

    REQUIREMENTS FOR FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

    1. The following details would be needed for filling of the application form

    a. Local address

    b. Permanent address

    c. Active Email ID and Mobile Number

    d. Scanned photo in jpeg format (size less than 40Kb)

    e. Scanned signature in jpeg format (size less than 20Kb)

    f. Scanned copy of mark sheet of final year examination in jpeg format (size less than 300Kb)

    g. Scanned copy of relevant seeking exemption from Q.E.T.

    h. Scanned copy of PH certificate in jpeg format for

    Disabled candidates (size less than 300Kb)

    i. Mark sheet of qualifying examination for preparation of academic index.

    j. Mark sheets of graduation examination for preparation

    k. ID proof (any one of the following)

    • Voter ID

    • Passport

    • Driving License

    l. Aadhar Card

    m. Ration card

    2. Caste Certificate (if applicable)

    a. The ID number of caste certificate issued by the competent authority will have to be entered for layer), SC and ST candidates.

    b. For OBC candidates this certificate should be issued after July 1, 201 of these certificates will be verified from the Government website.

    3. Income Certificate (if applicable)

    a. Candidates seeking benefit of zero fees (annual income less than Rs. 2,00,000) should have income certificate issued after authority otherwise candidates will not be given Zero fee benefit.

    b. Candidates will have filling of the form.

    4. All certificates will be verified through the Government website. Certificates whose details are not available on this website will not be entertained.

In case of any discrepancy, the eligibility criterion, number of seats and amount of fees for each course entered in the official records of the University will be final.

    (Candidates have to go through all the four steps to complete the application form process. The application form of any candidate who does not

    STEP 1 CANDIDATE REGISTRATION

    • Click on ‘Candidate Registration’ link.

    • Fill all the particulars in Online Registration Form. (The fields denoted by (*) are compulsory to be filled)

    • Select Subject

    • Carefully review all the entries before submission.

    • A confirmation page with a unique nine digit Registration number will be generated. Note down

    the Registration Number or take the printout of registration slip. (For Future Reference)

    Note: This print out will not be considered as application. It is only a Registration Form. After

    Registration the candidate has to deposit the fee and then fill the application form.

    STEP 2 DEPOSIT APPLICATION FEE

    o For this click on the link for fee submission visit the I-collect link of State Bank of India

    o Click on the checkbox and click proceed

    o Select fee category Application Fee

    o Enter your registration number

    o Your details along with fee amount will be displayed

    o Enter all details

    o Fill your name, date of birth and mobile number in the space provided.

    o Click on submit

    o Verify the details and click on confirm

    Select your payment options

    o SBI Net banking

    o Any ATM/Debit card

    o Any Credit card

    o SBI branch for cash payment through e

    APPLICATION FEE STRUCTURE FOR PH.D. ADMISSIONS 2015

    General-1500

    OBC (With valid Caste Certificate issued by UP Govt.)-1500

    SC/ST with UP domicile (With valid Caste Certificate issued by UP Govt.).)-750

    SC/ST with non UP domicile (Caste Certificate not issued by UP Govt.)-1500

    Bank will provide a unique code number called the SBI Reference No/SBI transaction ID starting with DU

    o For candidates submitting the fees through already printed on the top of the receipt.

    o This SBI Reference Number is important as it would be required for logging in for completing the application process after payment of the application fee.

    o In case you forget it you can reprint the fee submission receipt by entering the details that you have entered at time of application fee payment.

    Note: After one working day of Fee Deposit, candidate can fill online form from

    https://luadmission.nic.in.

    For online submission of application, candidates have to go at website https://luadmission.nic.in.

    Click on ’Online Admission' link, a window will open. After Proceeding, candidates are required to enter Transaction ID, Date of Birth and Mobile Number to complete the registration process

    STEP 3 COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM

    • Fill all the particulars in Online Registration Form. (The fields denoted by (*) are compulsory to be filled)

    • Carefully review all the entries before submission.

    STEP 4 UPLOAD ALL THE CERTIFICATES AND MARK SHEETS

    • After submitting application upload scanned copy of the following (as applicable)

    o Candidates colour front face photograph (max size 40 B)

    o Signature (max size 20 KB)

    o Qualifying examination mark sheets (max size 300 B)

    o Relevant certificate/letter (max size 300 KB)

    o The Physically Handicapped/Disabled candidates have to upload the PH certificate

    (max size 300 KB)

    • Before final submission of application form recheck that all the information filled by you are correct and then finally submit the application form.

    • When document upload successfully you will get a password write it and keep it.

    • Take the printout of this final form for further proceedings. (Print option- A4 size in

    Landscape).
