JEE Mains Counselling 2018

  1. The JEE Main exam is conducted for admission in engineering courses in various colleges and engineering streams

    The colleges includes JEE Main Colleges like NITs, GFTIs, other private colleges

    As the JEE Exam Result is announced the JEE Main Counselling 2018 session starts

    You need to fill the colleges and branch choices and get admission in the engineering colleges according to the JEE Main Scores
    The JEE Main Cut off was as follows

    General -81 Marks

    OBC -49 Marks

    SC-32 Marks

    ST-27 Marks

    • JEE Main counselling is organised by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
    • Starting from the 3rd week of June 2018, it will be conducted in the online mode.
    • Candidates who qualify JEE Main will be eligible for the counselling process for all the participating institutes such as the NITs, IIITs, etc.
    • Candidates must first register for the counselling online.
    • After registering, they must fill and lock their choices of colleges and branches in the decreasing order of the preference.
    • 7 rounds of seat allocation will be conducted by JoSAA.
    • The seat allotment will be conducted on the basis of merit, seat availability and choice filling.
    • After the final allotment, candidates must pay a fee of Rs 45,000 as the seat acceptance fee.
    • The seat acceptance is followed by document verification and final reporting at the allotted college.
    • Candidates can withdraw their application up to the 6th round of seat allocation.

    JEE Main 2018 Counselling and Seat Allocation will typically consist of six rounds. The entire seat allotment and admission procedure would be managed via centralized JEE Main Counseling. JoSAA Counseling is organized for JEE Main and JEE Advanced aspirants. The participating institutes would comprise 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).

    Aspirants qualifying JEE Main 2018 must register themselves online and select their preferred college and course. Issuement of seats will be done online based on the participant’s rank, category, availability of seats and other factors.     Engineering entrance exams 2019: Important dates

    JEE Main: Union Human Resource Development Ministry recently has been unveiled by Union Human Resource Development Ministry. In the month of January 6th, 2019, the first examination will be conducted and the second examination will be conducted on April 6th, 2019. It is very significant to secure 75% in Class 12 board exams to be eligible for JEE main or advanced.

    JEE Main 2019: Important dates

    JEE Main I: Starts from January 6

    Application forms online date submission: September 1 to September 30, 2018

    Admit cards download: December 17, 2018

    Date of Examination: January 6 to January 20, 2019 (8 different sitings and candidate can choose any one)

    Result dates: January 31, 2019

    JEE Main II: Commences from April 6

    Online submission of application forms: February 8 to March 7, 2019

    Admit cards download: March 18, 2019

    Dates of examination: April 6 to April 20, 2019 (8 different settings and candidate can choose any one)

    Result dates: April 30, 2019.

    WBJEE 2019:

    State Engineering Entrance Exams called West Bengal Joint Engineering Entrance Exams (WBJEE) for admitting undergraduate courses in technology, engineering, pharmacy and architecture in universities. In the year 2018, about 1.2 lac students attended the exam and the result was out on May 23.
