Completed Masters in Arts?Make career in lectureship.

  1. Lectureship and Research is one of the best career options for the aspirants from the Science, Arts, Humanities, Commerce as well as other fields. Mainly to apply for the Lectureship and Professorship it is the requirement of doing Ph.D. program from the recognized University and Organization.

    One more option for the candidates is to appear in the National Eligibility test and apply for Lectureship. The UGC NET Exam is conducted every year in the month of June and December in more than 80 subjects. If you clear the Exam you can easily apply in the UGC Approved Universities and Colleges for Assistant Professor Posts.

    Eligibility for Lectureship by UGC NET –

    You must complete the masters or Post graduation in the subject with 55% marks (50% marks for the Reserved cat. candidates)

    There is no age limit for the Exam.

    The UGC NET Syllabus is based on the two phases – Paper 1 and Paper 2.

    There are many Colleges and Universities in India that provides Job opportunities in lectureship and Research program by the UGC Approved Score card. Whereas you also have other career opportunities in other fields. You can also avail Scholarships worth INR 25000 per month after clearing this exam.
